European Dance Development Network
EDN is a network of dance organisations in Europe advocating for structural development in dance.
EDN is the EU network for contemporary dance, connecting dance development organisations across Europe. The network serves as a hub, a mediator, and an international connector. It supports the sector's professional development and cooperates toward a sustainable, progressive, and equitable field of contemporary dance. EDN advocates on behalf of its members for structural development in dance, informing policy work and public development programmes.

European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA will support around 50 co-production residencies for emerging artists in 2027
Festivals from different countries apply together to support an emerging artist/ group through a residency project developed and presented across their programmes. To apply, festivals need to:
👉 form a partnership (minimum 3 festivals from different countries)
👉 agree on an emerging artist or collective
👉 co-design a residency project across their festivals

📣 The DRIFT Open Call for mid-career choreographers is now open!
DRIFT is inviting applications from mid-career choreographers wishing to pursue artistic research within a European context. Ten artists, one from each partner country, will be selected to take part in a programme dedicated to experimentation, reflection and professional development. No finalised project is required: DRIFT primarily supports research processes that lay the foundations for future creations.
👉 The call is open for:
• Professional choreographers with a demonstrated track record in contemporary dance or performance
• Mid-career artists — beyond the emerging stage at the national level, but not yet fully established at an international level
• Artists whose practice would benefit from strengthening the research phase of their work
• Artists wishing to develop their presence and connections at a European level
• Artists with a solid interest in experimentation, transnational collaboration, and artistic research
• Artists with a good command of English (working language of the project)
Each selected artist will benefit from the following support :
• €20,000 earmarked for the research phase
• 3 Online Labs
• Showcase participation
• Artistic and curatorial mentoring
• Professional networking & international visibility
