I just wanted to let all you
wonderful folk who support Make A Smile know 😀that last week we made an investment of €480 from your kind donations to two hard working youngsters to help them get into a future work place.
Candidate No1👤. €250 will allow one young lady to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional hairdresser. She is super exited that the course is starting this week.
Candidate No2👤 €230 will start the career of the second youngster who will be starting his first term of an apprenticeship to become an Electrician. Perfect. 👍
I’ve seen for myself over the last eighteen years that if we can give these youngsters the
opportunity, they will do the rest. It’s all about giving these kids👥 a chance of a future.👍 Thank you all for your continuing generosity.❤️

The Summer Sensational Sound Party 🍾🥂!!!
What a fantastic way to spend a Friday evening. Hosted in the beautiful gardens of Los Arcos restaurant Pedreguer,
excellent entertainment from the lovely Adele Louise💝, the brilliant Moonshine Due & the one and only Steve Etherington and supported by over 70 of you wonderful folk❤️all to raise funds and awareness for local charities 👏👏👏. The event raised a whopping €1,620 supporting Make A Smile 😀 children’s back to school project and the amazing work of the Aprosdeco. A huge big thank you on behalf of 130 + kids 👥 sadly in local care homes all their very grateful Carers and all of the Make A Smile team. Have a super great Sunday everyone. 😎xx

Don’t you just love this community 💝!!! We had a
very pleasant surprise visit from our friends at the Armonia de Ifach Lodge No 46 Calpe, who popped into The Bed Center last week with a fabulous gift of €550 worth of vouchers for the Ondara shopping center towards our Make A Smile 😀 kids Back to school project for the children’s home in Calpe. A huge big thank you to all the members of the Armonia de Ifach Lodge No 46 Calpe for their kindness and generosity 👏. Have a great week everyone as always we’ll keep you updated. 😎 # # #

Make a Smile😀 Back to school 👍!!!
Summer school holidays are nearly over and Make a Smile’s😀 next challenge is to help get these children back into education.👍 We’ll supply certain books for some of the older children, relevant school clothing and shoes, sports wear, school supplies, out of school activities and much much more. Most Parents will be facing the same issues we just have to times ours by 138 kids 😱!!!
Now here’s the good bit💝 Babara and her awesome team of volunteers from our Amigos de Make A Smile 😀 charity shop in Tuelada, thanks to your generous donations of good quality goodies, has just pledged a whopping €5.300 towards the Make A Smile 😀 Back to School program. A huge big thank you to all our amazing volunteers and a very special thank you to all you wonderful folk ❤️ who support our Amigos de Make A Smile charity shop. School holidays 😱!!!

The long school holidays are probably one of the most difficult times of year for our children👥 and their Carers. What do you do with 138 kids over the nearly three months school holidays?🤔
Then the magic happens 😍!!! Thanks to this wonderful community 💝 from private donations, amazing golf days, fun quiz nights, children fundraising from the Lady Elizabeth School and our outstanding Amigos de Make A Smile 😀 charity shop volunteers, we managed to send special needs children to summer schools, physically challenged youngsters enjoyed Red Cross & O.N.C.E arranged camping holidays. All our older kids picked one very special treat either Aqulandia or Tierra Mítica, there were Cinema tickets booked, trips to the chocolate factory, days on the beach with ice cream, also shopping vouchers covering birthdays over the summer, extra food and much needed summer clothes. Totally awesome stuff😘. Our next challenge is to get the same kids back to school cost estimated at €10.000😱!!! We started off
last Monday with another one of our fantastic fun quiz nights organized by our Make A Smile😀 quizmasters Derek & Anne hosted at the Vall de Pop restaurant where a whopping €537.50 was raised 👏👏👏. A massive big thank you to all our awesome quizzers for their amazing support once again. Have a wonderful weekend everyone more to come soon. 😎xx

Amigos de Make A Smile Charity Shop 💝need your help!!!
Thanks to your fantastic donations of good quality clothes and household goodies and the tireless efforts of our amazing team of volunteers at our Amigos de Make a Smile😀charity shop (just up from the bottom roundabout open 10am till 1pm) on the main avenue in Teulada has been a huge success over the last eight years. The shop has helped local young families to buy good quality goodies at bargain prices and the money raised has then supported countless projects for the nine homes and one hundred and thirty plus children👥 in care here on the coast. If some of you wonderful folk❤️ have just 3 hours a week to spare and would like to join our awesome team of volunteers helping in our sorting warehouse or in the charity shop please contact Barbara on 634 307 385 email [email protected] or just pop in the shop for more details. Working together we can change the lives of these amazing kids👥 sadly in care.

I received an email on Sunday from Jo from that awesome group “The Entertainers 🌟” who on Saturday night had been staring at a private 80th birthday party for a fantastic chap Mike Holtom. During the
celebrations Mike his lovely wife Sue, family and friends decided to share that birthday love and wishes with all our Make A Smile 😀children with a whopping donation of €1,125 👏👏👏. Don’t you just love this community❤️!!! Happy Birthday Mike from all the children, their carers and all the team at Make A Smile 😀🍾🥂.

Fun Quiz night🥳
Last Monday evening our super fun quizzers❤️ met up for another fantastic night of good fun, great food lots of laughs all while raising money for local kids in care here on the coast. Hosted at the beautiful Vall de Pop restaurant and organized by our fantastic Quizmasters Derek & Anne our amazing quizzers ❤️ raised a whopping €600👍.
