🇨🇴 el proceso para terminar a SuSu va a estar bastante demorado ya que prefiero hacerlo con calma y cada paso toma su tiempo. Así que teníamos que buscar otras formas de disfrutar la naturaleza y explorar la ruta y pues esto fue lo que se me ocurrió. 🤷🏻‍♂️

🇺🇸 building SuSu is proving to be a process that takes a lot of time so I had to come up with a back up plan in the meantime. A back up plan to enjoy nature, unplug from the world and connect with my inner child. This is what I came up with. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Habemus Piso!

Faltan los últimos detalles con algunos bordes pero ya la gran parte está puesta! Ahora si podemos empezar a construir y añadir las partes del piso hacia arriba.

🇨🇴 sellar o no sellar?
Una de las cosas que te puede pasar cuando estás construyendo tu Van es que te metes en internet para averiguar y preguntar cosas. Y las respuestas muchas veces resultan en más preguntas que respuestas pues hay infinidad de opiniones y recomendaciones. La pregunta de hoy. Sellamos o no el marco del piso con protección para el Agua?

Alguna gente dice que no es necesario otros más o menos que si no lo haces la van se va a destruir al año. Así que pues que decidimos? Mejor prevenir que curar cierto?

Hoy sellamos la madera que será el marco del piso para instalar la insolación y el piso de madera (laminate floor) que irá encima. Pequeños pasitos pero ahí vamos! 💪🏻

One of the things that can happen when you’re building your van is that you go online to find out and ask questions. And the answers often result in more questions than answers because there are countless opinions and recommendations. Today’s question: Should we seal the floor frame with waterproofing?

Some people say it’s not necessary, others say that if you don’t, the van will be destroyed within a year. So, what did we decide? Better safe than sorry, right?

Today we sealed the wood that will be the floor frame for installing the insulation and the laminate flooring that will go on top. Baby steps, but we’re getting there! 💪🏻
