🛠️✨ ¡Arranca la aventura de residencias maker de We Repair en FabLab Cuenca!

Hoy hemos dado la bienvenida a nuestros Makers in Residence & que durante toda esta semana compartirán ideas, aprenderán, crearán y desarrollarán nuevos proyectos junto a nuestro equipo y a la comunidad maker. 🚀

Además de trabajar en sus propios proyectos, participarán en diferentes actividades abiertas, como nuestros Repair Café comunitarios donde pondremos en práctica una de las ideas que más nos inspiran: reparar, reutilizar y aprender juntos. 💚♻️

También hemos recibido a nuestro primer participante del programa ESC – European Solidarity Corps en su visita preparatoria. Hemos recorrido el FabLab, conocido al equipo y empezado a dar forma al proyecto que desarrollaremos conjuntamente en estas sesiones.

¡Tenemos por delante una semana llena de creatividad, colaboración y muchas ganas de hacer! 💡🔧

¿Tienes entre 25 y 30 años y te apasionan la tecnología, la creatividad, la sostenibilidad o los proyectos sociales?

El programa está abierto a jóvenes de toda Europa y una de las plazas puede ser ocupada por una persona residente en España para participar durante 9 meses en nuestro programa de voluntariado del Cuerpo Europeo de Solidaridad en Cuenca.

🇵🇹✨ Back from an inspiring week in Portugal!

We were honoured to be invited by as international experts to collaborate with teachers from the Almodôvar School Cluster as part of their European programme focused on innovation in education.

We explored digital fabrication, maker methodologies and STEAM education, while sharing tools and approaches that help bring creativity, technology and inclusion into the classroom.

One of the day we were working with educators committed to creating new opportunities for their students through innovation and collaboration.

A huge thank you to the entire Buihno team for their hospitality and dedication to building a more creative and inclusive future through education. We look forward to future collaborations! 🚀

🚀 We’re excited to launch INVISIBLE CARTOGRAPHIES!

we officially kick off a 2-year European collaboration exploring how art, technology, and community can transform spaces into more inclusive, sensory-aware environments for neurodivergent people.

Through artist residencies, maker workshops, citizen sensing, and co-creation processes, we will:

✨ Map invisible experiences of museums, schools and public spaces
✨ Empower neurodivergent artists—especially women and girls
✨ Prototype inclusive solutions for cultural and educational environments
✨ Share open tools, sensory maps, and resources for everyone
