14 children. One unexpected call. A safe place when they needed it most. ❤️

During September, 14 children involved in child labour were referred to our Centre of Hope by government social workers. Some had come from neighbouring countries into Tanzania, while others were working on the streets instead of being in school.

When they arrived, our team was able to provide what every child deserves, a safe place to stay, basic necessities, emotional support and counselling.

This is why the Centre of Hope exists. ❤️

It is more than a home. It is a place ready to respond when vulnerable children need protection, care and someone to stand beside them.

Alongside responding to emergencies like this, our team continues to care for 46 children, supporting their education, emotional wellbeing and everyday lives.

Protection. Education. Hope. A future.

It’s not always about what we do. Sometimes it’s about the environment we create.

Our mission is to create spaces where people feel seen, valued and cared for, environments that can help facilitate healing and restoration.

Yesterday at the mobile shower, this was one of those simple moments.
