From Nirvana to Gospel Funk? 🎸🕺
Every artist has a musical DNA, but few are as diverse and honest as Arp Frique’s. In our latest Track Talk, the Amsterdam-based multi-instrumentalist breaks down the 10 defining records that shaped his journey from a grunge-loving kid to a master of the global groove.
From the raw energy of Kurt Cobain to the spiritual elegance of Stevie Wonder and the analog synth wizardry of Herbie Hancock, these influences all converge in his heavy-hitting new EP, 'Alpha & Omega'.
What’s inside the journey?
How a car ride with his mom and a Nirvana tape started it all.
The deep connection between vintage Arp synths and his signature sound.
Insights into his collaborations with legends like Rocq-E Harrell and the Rush Hour family.
The transition from "Le Freak" inspiration to high-energy spiritual music.
📖 Dive into the full, layered story behind the music via the link in our bio!
Don’t sleep on the new release—play it loud, support the artist, and let the frequency move you. 🌌
