Fly Signs

Hi my names Fly. I've always had a keen eye for design. As a youngster I loved to draw posters, party invites and imaginary record sleeves. My passion for lettering and signs started whilst working as a barman in England. I used to paint the chalkboard signs and menus that adorned the pub walls. Since 2000 I've painted thousands of signs for shops, bars, restaurants, music festivals and other events. I learnt the skills of lettering on the job and from several old trade manuals that I've collected along the way. In September 2016 my wife and I moved to the island of Ibiza, Spain. Signwriting has become much more popular now in the UK and I am keen to see how well it goes down over here. Everyone needs a sign right? All of my signs are painted by hand. I use paint markers for blackboards and menus. Vehicles, windows and more permanent signs are painted by brush using enamel paint. I have a small workshop setup in the countryside. I hope my signs will carefully preserve the natural beauty of Ibiza and bring an individual, unique style to the each my clients.
