Barcelona en septiembre tiene algo diferente… y La Mercè tiene mucho que ver. 🎉
Durante unos días, la ciudad cambia de ritmo: tradición, cultura y miles de personas salen a la calle para celebrar una de las fiestas más emblemáticas de Cataluña.
Y sí, entre castellers, correfocs y gigantes también puedes aprender unas cuantas palabras nuevas en español. 😉

For a few days, the city changes its rhythm: tradition, culture and thousands of people take to the streets to celebrate one of Catalonia's most iconic festivals.
And yes, between castellers, correfocs and giants, you might even learn a few new Spanish words. 😉

Unas frutas estaban clarísimas, otras generaron alguna duda y, por supuesto, también hubo tiempo para debatir entre plátano y banana.
Lo mejor: aprender vocabulario, descubrir expresiones nuevas y echarse unas risas por el camino.

¿Por qué «se» aparece EN TODAS PARTES? 👀
«Se lava», «se venden casas», «se vive bien», «se lo dije»… Misma palabra. Usos completamente diferentes.
Y sí, al principio puede parecer uno de esos pequeños misterios de la gramática española. 😅
En este carrusel te enseñamos a distinguir los usos más frecuentes de «se», con ejemplos para que empieces a reconocerlos sin tener que pensarlo demasiado.
Why does «se» seem to be EVERYWHERE in Spanish? 👀
«Se lava», «se venden casas», «se vive bien», «se lo dije»… Same word. Completely different uses.

Vaso, copa, taza, jarra or chupito: learning the difference can save you from a few confusing moments. Although, after three copas, you might start calling them all “vaso” again. 😜

Un día para descubrir, aprender… y terminar con muy buen sabor de boca. 🍫🌊
Nos fuimos de excursión a Villajoyosa, paseamos entre sus famosas casas de colores y nos adentramos en una de sus tradiciones más dulces con una visita al Museo del Chocolate.
Porque aprender español también es conocer su cultura, sus lugares y, de vez en cuando, probarlos. 😉

We went on a trip to Villajoyosa, walked among its famous colourful houses and discovered one of its sweetest traditions with a visit to the Chocolate Museum.
Because learning Spanish is also about discovering the culture, the places and, every now and then, tasting them too. 😉
