For so many years, this time of the year meant one thing: I was in Toronto or Montreal, playing at the Canadian Open.

It has always been one of the tournaments where I felt at my best and had some of the most special results of my career. I loved the playing conditions, but what made it even more special was the incredible support I always felt from the people there. They made me feel at home.

The memories I made there will always be special to me.

Mamei mele, care a știut mereu să păstreze echilibrul. Și fratelui meu, care a înțeles, a făcut sacrificii și de multe ori și-a pus propriile dorințe pe plan secund pentru ca eu să-mi pot urma visul.
