Eigentlich fehlen mir noch immer die Worte, weil ich mir denke: Wirklich ich?

Beim Diversity Ball durfte ich gemeinsam mit einer weiteren Person den 1. Preis beim „Preis der Vielfalt“ entgegennehmen.

Für eine Rede war leider keine Zeit, deshalb zumindest hier ein Gedanke, der mich sehr begleitet:

“Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” – Dolly Parton

Für mich bedeutet Sichtbarkeit, Räume einzunehmen, Menschen zu verbinden und auch dann weiterzumachen, wenn es unbequem wird.

Und wie Marsha P. Johnson sagte:

“No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”

Dieser Preis bedeutet mir unglaublich viel. Danke an alle, die mich auf diesem Weg begleiten. ❤️

There wasn’t time for a speech, so I want to leave at least one thought here:

To me, visibility means taking up space, connecting people and continuing even when it becomes uncomfortable.

And, as Marsha P. Johnson said:

“No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”

This award means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. ❤️
