The popular ‘Sabor a Málaga’ regional fair is returning to La Cala de Mijas from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September, bringing around 30 local producers to the boulevard for a weekend packed with delicious food, tastings and cookery demonstrations.

Expect to discover an amazing selection of products from across the province, including goat’s cheese from the Serranía de Ronda, avocados from the Axarquía, Moscatel w**e from El Borge, artisan bread, honey, cured meats and much more. 😋

Tourist Day is coming to Mijas! ☀️

On 23 September, Mijas will celebrate its annual Tourist Day in Plaza Virgen de la Peña, bringing together the best of our traditions, culture, gastronomy and the beauty of our municipality. 💃🥘

The celebrations begin at 12 noon with a lively flamenco performance, followed by a delicious paella tasting at 1:30pm. 🎶🍴

The event is part of the celebrations for World Tourism Day on 27 September, and everyone is welcome — tourists, visitors and residents alike!

With tourism at the heart of Mijas’ economy, the event is also a chance to showcase why the Costa del Sol is a fantastic destination beyond the busy summer months, from its peaceful surroundings and golf courses to its wonderfully mild winter climate. 🌴⛳️

🚌 A shuttle bus service will also be available to make getting to the event even easier.
