Sea trials on Honey Rider.
This is where the work on the rig moves from the yard into real sailing conditions. Under load, the team can assess rig tune, sail handling and the behaviour of the complete system before making any final adjustments.
A vital part of verifying the work where it matters most: on the water.

If the yacht is heading into the yard, now is the time to get the rig inspection booked.
Finding wear, corrosion or damage early gives you time to investigate, source components and schedule any necessary work within the yard programme.

From this perspective you can see just how coordinated a rig move needs to be. The crane operator, the riggers on the ground, the tag lines, the clearances and the positioning all have to work together. Once the mast is in the air, everyone needs to know what is happening next.
A good team makes this look controlled and straightforward.

"We recently had RSB Rigging in Palma de Mallorca carry out the replacement of the Dyneema rope on our crane. The entire job was completed to an excellent standard — professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail.
We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the overall service. We would especially like to highlight Shane, who is a true professional and clearly knows his trade inside and out. His expertise, attention to detail, and professional approach were greatly appreciated.
We would highly recommend RSB Rigging for their excellent workmanship and professional service." First Officer, M/Y Enigma
Great work, Shane and the load testing team!
Years of experience really show when a team is working around a rig of this size and value. The mast is impressive, but watch the riggers on the ground as well.
Every rigger knows where to be, what to watch and when to make an adjustment. They’re monitoring the spar, the rigging, the supports and the clearances, communicating constantly as the load comes down. That coordination, judgement and precision are built over years of handling rigs at this level.
When a rigging package of this scale is being lowered onto the trolleys, centimetres matter.
A pretty spectacular commute to inspect the rig.
Getting up the mast means our riggers can inspect fittings, terminals and hardware at close quarters, spotting wear, movement or damage that simply can't be properly assessed from deck level.
And the view isn't bad when you're up there either...

It passed the load test. So it’s compliant. Right?
Not necessarily.

Look at the size of this rig! Can you guess the total height if the mizzen mast and the main mast were together end to end?
