Sofie van Rooijen

A little taste of la dolce vita 🍋

One year since my grandmother passed away… 🤍

She watched Paris–Roubaix from kilometer 0 for as long as I can remember—even before I was born. In recent years, racing this race knowing she was watching meant so much to me

This would have been my first Roubaix without her, but I know she’ll still be watching from above ✨

Unfortunately, I won’t be on the start line tomorrow. After a crash during track training last week, I’m dealing with a whiplash and have to end my spring classics earlier than planned 💔

Time to take some rest now, and recover 🤕

Sunny rides.☀️
Tough wind.💨
Good company.👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼
Not a bad way to prepare.😝

Still processing this one…

Huge thanks to and — so grateful for the trust, support and belief 🙏🏼🧡
Couldn’t have done this without you.

Not bad for a first ever points race, right? 😅🔥

Rollercoaster days 🎢😅

Last-minute changes, sickness, doubt — but we stayed together and we raced with heart.
So proud of this team and the way we fought together 🧡

8th place in the scratch for me. Still learning, still growing, grateful to be here 😁

One more chance tonight in the points race 🔥

Thankful for all the support of 🫶🏼
