SiamAcrobati

"SiamAcrobati" is an original musical initiative whose main characteristic is multiculturalism: Misha, from Ukraine and who forms part of a trio composed of Bayan, Guitar and Violin, and which interprets popular Ukrainian folk music, came into contact with Vinti, an Italian based in Valencia, when the latter was playing saxophone in the progressive, instrumental quartet “Malindi”, and in which took on the role of bass player. Together, they decided to take their admiration for major Italian musical figures, such as Paolo Conte, and form a simple, compact acoustic duo to interpret evergreen themes by Italian songwriters with a touch of Swing. Employing Guitars, Voice, Saxophone and Percussions, they also incorporated several of their own themes, also performed in Italian, into their repertoire. During one of their concerts at “L’Ovella Negra”, they interpreted a theme with the collaboration of the bar’s owners: Alfonso, on guitar, and Alessandra, on vocals. With Alfonso, a lighting and sound technician originally from Pamplona and musically more inclined towards Jazz and Bossa Nova, an instant understanding was established, and he joined the group as a guitarist and arranger, with Misha, in turn, returning to the instrument that he has played since his youth, the Bayan. "SiamAcrobati" is, without a doubt, an innovative idea through which its members, Misha, Alfonso and Vinti, explore their cultural subconscious to give life to twelve multicultural themes under the generic title of "Frenetica velocità”.
