When we go to Paris, as a travel advisor, I’m always on the hunt for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, and we had not one but two spectacular room categories to enjoy. But that Penthouse Suite was TEA! Spacious, quiet and the escape we needed after walking 20k plus miles a day on those Parisian streets. 🇫🇷🎶

And just steps from the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe, the location was everything! 🦋

We spent the day exploring Budva, and it was the perfect mix of historic charm, turquoise Adriatic water, beautiful beaches, luxury yachts, great food, and that unmistakable Mediterranean summer energy. 🌊☀️

Are you planning your own day around Budva? Here are a few things we’d recommend:

✨ Start in the Old Town: wander the narrow stone streets and take your time. It’s worth turning off Google Maps and getting a little lost. 🗺️

👟 Wear comfortable shoes: the cobblestones are gorgeous, but your feet may have other opinions. 😂

🏖️ Leave time for the water: Budva has some beautiful beaches, so don’t make your entire day about sightseeing. 👙

🍽️ Make dinner reservations: especially if you want a waterfront table or somewhere to catch the sunset. And if you want some recommendations, comment below! 👇🏽

🌅 Stay until golden hour: the light along the coast is absolutely magical, and Budva takes on a completely different feel as the sun starts to set. 🌞🥂

🚗 If you’re driving: plan parking ahead as the summer crowds can make parking around the Old Town a challenge. Meaning leave enough time due to traffic!💥

And our biggest tip: don’t rush it. Give yourself enough time to wander, stop for a drink or two, take the scenic route, and simply enjoy being there. ✨
