VALENCIA LANGUAGE EXCHANGE proporciona a sus usuarios los recursos necesarios para poder realizar estos encuentros.
Valencia Language Exchange nace en el año 2008, con 7 personas de diferentes nacionalidades, decidieron reunirse con la intención de poder practicar diferentes idiomas, Hoy, 18 años más tarde, colectivo que suma más de 20000 miembros. El funcionamiento es muy sencillo: cuando cada persona llega a uno de estos establecimientos, un organizador se encarga de dirigirle a una mesa en la que se hayan sentado otras personas interesadas en hablar un idioma determinado, ya sea porque lo está aprendiendo o porque se trata de su lengua nativa. Pocos minutos después del inicio de cada evento, el establecimiento en cuestión se ha convertido en una tertulia multilingüística. Además de los encuentros semanales (cada día de la semana en un establecimiento diferente, para poder llegar a más público), VALENCIA LANGUAGE EXCHANGE organiza todo tipo de eventos: excursiones a la montaña, salidas culturales, karaoke, etc. Con el paso del tiempo, Valencia Language Exchange se ha convertido en una gran familia para todas las personas locales que frecuentan estos encuentros, habiendo tenido la oportunidad de conocer a cientos de personas de diferentes nacionalidades y entornos culturales. El grupo VALENCIA LANGUAGE EXCHANGE ha sido entrevistado en tres ocasiones en televisiones locales valencianas y ha aparecido hasta en seis ocasiones en medios de comunicación escrita, incluyendo la portada del diario “Levante-EMV”.
