Welcome to Valencia! 🏙️✨

A few weeks ago, our new cohort took to the streets for their first official walking tour of the city. We explored Valencia’s iconic landmarks, got a feel for the local culture, and started making this vibrant city our new home away from home.

Yesterday we enjoyed a tapas cooking class at Valencia Club Cocina 👨‍🍳🇪🇸
We learned how to make some classic Spanish tapas and, of course, got to enjoy everything we cooked. A fun experience filled with great food and even better memories. 😋✨

Last Saturday we spent the day in Peñíscola ☀️🌊

Between the beach, the castle 🏰, and a walk through its charming streets, we discovered one of those places that’s always worth a visit.

A day in Altea is always a good idea 💙🌊

We wandered through its beautiful white streets, enjoyed the amazing views, and spent some time by the Mediterranean. Another great day discovering some of Spain’s most beautiful places. ☀️

Our walking tour was the perfect way to explore the city, learn a few fun facts, and discover some of Valencia’s most iconic places. A great start to the adventure!

Today we learned how to cook paella at We also made Spanish omelet and a traditional dessert, and honestly… it was such a fun activity!

Lots of heat, beach time, a visit to the castle 🏰, and amazing views all day long. A great way to enjoy one of the most beautiful spots on the coast.

We visited some of its most iconic spots, learned a little about its history, and started getting a feel for the city.

Today we celebrated our closing ceremony 🎓

We’re not big fans of goodbyes… and even less this time. We’re not only saying goodbye to an amazing group, but also to someone very special to us: Jesús Peris, who after 29 years has taught much more than his subject, he has shared our culture, our Fallas, and VALENCIA itself. Today he is saying goodbye to this chapter at UVA Valencia. Thank you for all these years with us, and best of luck in what comes next.

And to all of you, thank you for these past months, for everything you’ve shared, and for being part of this experience.
Valencia will always be your home ❤️
