The National Bank of Ethiopia classified commercial banks in three categories; large, medium, and small banks, based on their asset.

Capital
Large: the state-owned Commercial Bank of Ethiopia that has a total assets and deposits of 9.5 percent and 48.7 percent, respectively of the whole banking sector at end-June 2023, its.Medium: Awash Bank, Bank of Abyssinia, Cooperative Bank of Oromia, Dashen Bank, Hibret Bank (five banks). Accounted for 28.0 percent of the sector’s total assets, 29.4 percent of deposits and their entire capital was 31.0 percent at the end of June 2023.
Small: 24 banks accounted for 22.5 percent asset and 21.9 percent deposit. Their combined total capital share stood at 41.6 percent at end-June 2023 of the whole banking sector.

የንግድ ስራ ገቢ የሚባለው፡-

1. ግብር ከፋዩ ዕቃዎችን በማስተላለፍ እና አገልግሎቶችን በመስጠት የሚያገኘውን የገንዘብ መጠን ጨምሮ በግብር ዓመቱ ከንግድ ስራ ያገኘው ጠቅላላ የገንዘብ መጠን፣
2. የንግድ ስራ ሃብትን በማስተላለፍ የሚገኝ የገንዘብ መጠን (ከመዝገብ ዋጋ በላይ ያለው ዋጋ)፣
3. በአዋጅ መሠረት የግብር ከፋዩ ገቢ ተደርገው የተወሰዱ ሌሎች ማናቸውም ገቢዎች፣
4. የካፒታል ንብረት የሆነን የንግድ ስራ ሃብት በማስተላለፍ በሚገኘው ጥቅም ላይ ሁለት ግብሮች ሊወሰኑ ይችላሉ፡፡

— የካፒታል ዋጋ ዕድገት ግብር
5. ለንግድ ስራው ሃብት የተደረገው ወጪ ከንግድ ስራው ሀብት የተጣራ የመዝገብ ዋጋ የሚበልጠው የገንዘብ መጠን በንግድ ስራ ገቢ ውስጥ የሚካተት ሲሆን ከወጪው በላይ የሚገኘው ጥቅም ደግሞ የካፒታል ዋጋ ዕድገት ግብር ይከፈልበታል፡፡

ግብር የሚከፈልበት የቤት ኪራይ ገቢ

ግብር የሚከፈልበት የኪራይ ገቢ የሚባለው በግብር ዓመቱ ግብር ከፋዩ ቤት በማከራየት ካገኘው ጠቅላላ ዓመታዊ ገቢ ላይ ለግብር ከፋዩ የተፈቀደው ጠቅላላ ወጪ ተቀናሽ ተደርጎ የሚቀረው ገቢ ላይ ነው፡፡

የተከራይ አከራዮች

• የተከራይ አከራይ በግብር ዓመቱ ያገኘው ግብር የሚከፈልበት ገቢ ነው የሚባለው የተከራይ አከራይ በግብር ዓመቱ ከተቀበለው ጠቅላላ የኪራይ ገቢ ላይ ለዋናው አከራይ የሚከፍለው ኪራይ እንዲሁም ገቢውን ለማግኘት ያወጣቸው ሌሎች ወጪዎች ከተቀነሱ በኋላ የሚቀረው ገንዘብ ነው፡፡
• ተከራይ የተከራየውን ቤት መልሶ እንዲያከራይ የሚፈቅድ የቤት ባለቤት ተከራዩ ግብሩን ሳይከፍል ቢቀር ስለእርሱ ሆኖ ግብሩን የመክፈል ኃላፊነት ይኖርበታል፡፡

A two-week round of discussions between Ethiopian officials and an International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation in Addis Ababa has ended without a financial package deal, according to a statement from the Fund released yesterday.

IMF team led by Alvaro Piris “made substantial progress towards establishing how the IMF could support [Ethiopian] authorities’ economic program” between March 19 and April 2, 2024, but did not ink a staff level agreement, according to the statement.

ዛሬ በሚጠናቀቀው የአክሲዎን ሽያጭ Amhara Bank አማራ ባንክ በሰነደ መዋእለ ንዋይ ገበያ (Securities Exchange) ላይ ከግል ኢንቨስተሮች ከፍተኛ ባለድርሻ የሚያረገውን አክሲዎን ገዛ።

አማራ ባንክ ከፍተኛውን መዋዕለ ነዋይ በመመደብ የ 10 በመቶ የአክሲዮን ድርሻ መግዛቱን ገልጿል።
ባንኩ የሰነደ መዋዕለ ገበያን ላይ በ 90.6 ሚሊዮን ብር ከፍተኛዉን ድርሻ የገዛ የግል ኩባንያ መሆን ችሏል። ይህን ተከትሎ የአክሲዮን ግዢን የመፈፀመ አምስተኛዉ ባንክ ሆኗል።
ካፒታል ገበያን በኢትዮጵያ ለማቋቋም ድርሻ ከገዙት ባንኮች ዉስጥ እስካሁን 308.1 ሚሊዮን ብር መሰብሰብ ተችሏል ።

ንግድ ባንክ ባጋጠመው የሲስተም ችግር ምክንያት ከተወሰደዉ ከ 801 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ገንዘብ 622 ሚሊዮን ያህሉን ወደ ባንኩ ተመላሽ ማድረጉን የገለፀዉ እና ቀሪ 567 ግለሰቦች ደግሞ የወሰዱትን 9.8 ሚሊዮን ብር ማግኘት አለመቻሉን አስታዉቋል።
መጋቢት 6 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም. ምሽት ላይ ከ 3 ሰዓት ጀምሮ እስከ 8: 45 ድረስ ባለዉ 25 ሺህ 761 ደንበኞች ብር 801.4 ሚሊዮን መወሰዳቸውን ገልጿል።
ያልተገባ ጥቅም ለማግኘት በማሰብ በሂደቱ ዉስጥ የተሳተፉ 15 ሺህ ያህል የሂሳብ ቁጥሮችን ማግኘቱን ያስታወቀው ባንኩ 14 ግዜ ግበይት ነበራቸው ብሏል።
በዕለቱ 238 ሺህ 293 ግብይት መደረጉን እና አንድ የባንኩ ደንበኛ ከ 9 ጊዜ በላይ ግብይት መፈፀሙን የባንኩ ፕሬዚዳንት አቶ አቤ ሳኖ ለሁለተኛ ጊዜ በሰጡት መግለጫ አስታዉቀዋል።
በሂደቱ ላይ 57 በመቶ ተሳታፊ የነበሩት የዩኒቨርስቲ ተማሪዎች መሆናቸው ተነግሯል። አቶ አቤ ሳኖ እንደገለፁት እስከ ትላንት መጋቢት 16 ፤ 2016 ዓ.ም. ድረስ ከተወሰደዉ ገንዘብ 78 በመቶ ወይም ከ 622.9 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ወደ ባንኩ ተመላሽ ተደርጓል ብለዋል።
በተቀመጠው የጊዜ ገደብ ዉስጥ በፍቃደኝነት ገንዘብን ተመላሽ ያላደረጉ ግለሰቦች ስማቸዉን ጨምሮ ማንነታቸውን የሚገልፅ ምስዕል ከዛሬ ጀምሮ በተለያዩ አማራጮች ይፋ እንደሚያደርግ አስታዉቋል ።
