Kilinto and Korea Primary Schools were delighted to receive 700 tree seedlings including 300 avocado, 100 guava, and 300 Grevillea a thoughtful contribution toward creating greener and more supportive learning environments.

The Guguba Primary School Phase II School Feeding Project in Dire Dawa has been successfully concluded on the 7th of July, 2026, marking a year of meaningful support.
Throughout the academic year, 500 children received nutritious daily breakfasts, contributing to improved attendance, reduced dropout rates, and better academic performance. The initiative was widely recognized as a model school feeding program, demonstrating how consistent nutritional support can strengthen both learning and wellbeing.

ππ Supporting Dignity Through Compassion πΏ
Clothing and shoes are more than everyday necessities as they provide warmth, protection, and a sense of dignity. This week, Elnet Foundation distributed donated clothes and shoes in Lideta sub-city to 45 vulnerable children and adults who lives on the street, offering practical support and a simple expression of care in the shape of 135 clothing items.
Each item shared carried more than material value it offered encouragement and a reminder that everyone deserves to feel seen and supported.

Building on stories from the Dire Dawa Women Economic Empowerment Project, Bedria Mohammed is creating a path toward independence and stability.
Once reliant on her husbandβs limited income, Bedria began her journey with training, seed funding, and determination. Starting small, she expanded her clothing business and reached more customers across her community.
Today, she has tripled her income from 1,000 birr to 3,000 birr and is actively supporting her family with confidence. πΏThis journey reflects more than financial growth it is about dignity, resilience, and the power of opportunity.

Once struggling to support her family through a small food-selling business, Shukri received training, seed funding, and support to expand her βbaltinaβ products. Today, she prepares and supplies homemade goods to her community, increasing her monthly income from 2,000 birr to 6,000 birr.

Elnet Foundation is proud to receive a contribution of Birr 11,700 from Samuel Shearn and Ayden Boateng, 5th grade students at the International Community School, in support of our tree planting initiatives.

At Guguba Primary School in Dire Dawa, 500 students are receiving daily breakfast through the Guguba Student Feeding Program implemented by Elnet Foundation and Dire Dawa Development Association.

ππ Sharing Care with Children in Need
Today, Elnet Foundation distributed clothes to children in need around the Abichu area of Gelan Condominium. A total of 15 children received clothes and shoes to support their daily wellbeing and dignity.
