Following the successful accreditation of 12 Youth Ambassadors, the Safe Light Initiative – Ethiopian Youth Leadership & Diplomacy Academy is welcoming applications for Cohort II.
Eligibility Criteria:
▪️Currently enrolled in a university, college, TVET, or Grades 11–12
▪️Active in a youth-led organization or structure
▪️Committed to the 30-Day Safe Light Challenge
▪️Aligned with Safe Light Initiative’s vision
▪️Passionate about diplomacy and international affairs

Safe Light’s On-Job Training (OJT) Program provides young professionals with practical, hands-on experience in a professional work environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop workplace skills, receive mentorship, build professional connections, and gain experience relevant to their career goals.
What You’ll Gain:

Leadership Seminar | Learning, Leading & Growing
Yesterday, Safe Light Initiatives hosted a Leadership Seminar at Venue 90, Addis Ababa, bringing together students from the Executive Leadership Masterclass Cohorts 1–12 for an engaging learning experience.
Led by Amb. Sileshi Umer, the seminar featured five principles from “The 15 Principles of Emerging Leaders” his upcoming book:
Leading with a Clear Vision | Living in Excellence | Being Surrounded by Good and Matured Counselors | Growing in Subtle | Institutionalizing Your Leadership
The session offered practical reflections on leadership, personal growth, decision-making, and the importance of building leadership that creates a lasting impact. Beyond the learning, participants had the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful networks. It was a valuable opportunity to learn, connect, reflect, and grow as emerging leaders.
