The quiet Luxury of wood Finish

Walk into a room with solid walnut paneling.
Then walk into one finished in cheap laminate.

You'll feel the difference before you see it.

Wood finishing is one of the most underestimated skills in the furniture industry. It determines:

✦ How long a piece lasts (decades vs. years)
✦ How it responds to humidity critical in Ethiopia's varied climate zones
✦ Whether it deepens and improves with age, or chips and fades
✦ The perceived value of the entire piece

The difference between budget and premium furniture is rarely the wood itself.
It's almost always the finish.

𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀:
◈ Lacquer - smooth, protective, contemporary. The most widely used.
◈ Oil & Wax - natural, tactile, shows every grain detail. Ages beautifully.
◈ Veneer - thin layer of precious wood over MDF. Cost-effective luxury.
◈ Hand-applied stain artisanal, warm, heritage character.

What finish do you prefer on your furniture?
