🟠 How Do You Govern 55 Autonomous Agents? Meet the Steering Wheel.

Giving AI agents autonomy sounds powerful—until you think about compliance, law, and corporate policy. How do you keep them inside the guardrails?

You use the Steering Wheel.

We are incredibly excited to debut the Steering Wheel Simulator inside the new Codento The Self-Driving Enterprise® Advisor.

How to test your guardrails:
🔸Upload any non-confidential policy, strategy document, legal framework, or goal sheet
🔸The simulator instantly extracts up to 10 strict rules (red lines) and 10 strategic goals.
🔸Watch the system automatically map these guardrails and restrictions directly to individual SDE agents.

Control remains firmly in human hands. Always.
🔸 Upload your policy and test the simulator:

Meet Saeed, our new Lead AI & ML Engineer joining the Codento Norway team!

From setting international ITU-T standards during his PhD in Berlin to building live sports AI and pose tracking for Nordic hockey leagues, he specializes in building robust, production-ready AI systems.

Want to know why he traded academia for consulting, and why he can't watch sports matches like he used to? Read our interview below to find out!

🔶 Introduction in a nutshell
I'm Saeed, and I've just joined Codento in Oslo as Lead AI & ML Engineer. I work on the architecture side of AI and machine learning: designing systems that hold up in production and setting how we build and evaluate them. Most of my work sits around computer vision, retrieval systems, and agents on Google Cloud.

🔶 Background in the industry
I did my PhD at TU Berlin and Simula on how network delay affects the quality of cloud gaming, which ended up feeding into an ITU-T standard with Deutsche Telekom. After that I stayed in research at SimulaMet for a couple of years, then moved fully into engineering at Forzasys, where I built AI systems for sports video: automatic highlight generation, content-aware cropping running in production for the Swedish and Nordic hockey and football leagues. Alongside that I co-founded a startup doing combat sports analytics, taking pose estimation and 3D reconstruction to live broadcast. The through-line has been the same regardless of domain: define what "good" means numerically before you start optimising, then measure it honestly.

🔶 Why did you choose Codento?
Consulting gives me more variety than a single product does. I get to work across industries and see many different problems instead of going deeper into one for a decade. Codento's Google Cloud partnership means I can go properly deep on one platform rather than staying shallow on three. The mentoring part of the role also appealed to me, since I supervised students during my research years and missed it.

🔶 Fun fact about you
I've spent so long building AI that watches sports that I can't watch a match normally anymore. I sit there thinking about camera angles and where the tracker would lose the puck.

🔶 Motto
If you can't measure it, you can’t improve it.

Gemini Enterprise now holds millions of tokens of context and grounds agents directly in your data. Model capability isn’t your constraint anymore—clarity of direction is.

Yet, 60% of organizations see minimal or no return on their AI investments. The barrier isn’t technology or skills, it’s organisational identity defending the status quo.

Join us as Codento runs a full AI-driven strategy cycle live in under 30 minutes. Watch four agents scan the market, generate options, stress-test future scenarios, and simulate competitor responses—turning static strategy into an active engine for your agent platform.

🔶 AI for Growth | Who You Must Become to Steer AI

Last week, the Codento team came together in Helsinki for our Nordic Kickoff!

The kickoff brought colleagues from across the Nordics together for two days of learning, sharing ideas and, most importantly, spending time together as one team. 🇫🇮 🇸🇪 🇳🇴

🔸 We looked ahead to our plans across the Nordics, shared customer stories and insights, and dove deeper into our expertise through workshops covering different areas of our business and technology.

🔸 We were also happy to welcome guest speakers from Saari Partners and Google, who joined us to share their perspectives and insights.

🔸 And, of course, a kickoff wouldn’t be complete without some time away from the presentations and workshops. From shared breakfasts to a team-based city adventure through Helsinki, there were plenty of opportunities to connect, collaborate and have some fun together.

💡 A great couple of days filled with new ideas, good conversations and even better company. Thanks to everyone who joined and helped make our Nordic Kickoff such a memorable one!

Say hello to our new trainees Azar, Noel and Linn, who have started at our Swedish office!

To get to know them we asked them about their backgrounds and what they are looking forward to during their training period. Read our interview below to find out the answers!

🔶Tell me something about your background?

Azar: My background is a mix of industry and academia, spanning data analytics and engineering across various sectors. I studied Computer Science for my first degree and Sustainable Production Development for my second degree at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Outside of work, books, art in all its shapes, and comics keep me inspired.

Noel: I was born and raised in Stockholm but spent three years in Sandviken attending the orienteering high school academy before moving to Uppsala University. There, I completed my bachelor's in economics and master’s degree in Statistics & Data Analysis, focusing on statistical learning, predictive modeling, and machine learning. Between my degrees, I also gained practical experience working as an auditor within the real estate sector.

Linn: I'm originally from Gothenburg, but my path here took a few detours first. I spent 4 years in North Carolina earning my Bachelor's in Business Administration, then 2 years in New York City completing my Master's in Business Analytics. All while competing in collegiate track and field.

🔶Why did you choose Codento, and what are you most excited about?

Azar: It is genuinely exciting to be part of a team that is passionate about driving real value from data. I am looking forward to contributing to meaningful client projects, and growing both personally and professionally within a culture that values continuous learning and knowledge sharing. I hope to bring a mix of technical skills and industry experience, with an intersectional perspective that adds value to both clients and the team.

Noel: I chose Codento because it’s a great chance to get straight into a consulting role in a company that is curious and at the forefront of new technologies. I'm really looking forward to getting the chance to work with diverse client projects, applying modern data and AI solutions, learning, and collaborating with all my new colleagues!

Linn: It was the people who made this feel like the right fit. A team of smart, curious individuals who value continuous learning and believe the job isn't just about delivering solutions to clients, but delivering real value. The trainee program felt like the perfect place to grow within that kind of culture. Looking ahead, I'm excited to be part of a pioneering company driving real change, to deepen and evolve my skills across business, analytics, and data, and to keep learning from the colleagues around me.

What does a data engineering project actually look like from the consultant’s side?

In the latest Decoding the Consultant Life: Real Stories from Real Consultants, Data Engineer Juhani Takkunen shares his experience working with Smartvatten.

🔸 The challenge: reporting processes were distributed across different spreadsheets and financial and operational metrics required significant manual effort.

Our team built a common data platform for Smartvatten. Using our internal templates, we quickly spun up a proof of concept. This really helped improve communication early on between all participants.

The vast majority of our time was dedicated to defining, modeling, and implementing KPI calculations. Defining the business rules was complex and required a lot of back-and-forth between multiple key stakeholders.

Cleaning the data and properly defining KPIs allowed the customer to create live analytical reports. Earlier the customer wasn’t able to do this or keep the reports updated daily.

Juhani reflects on what he enjoyed most about the project:
💡 “Personally, I really enjoyed this part of the work: working closely with the customer to understand and define the business problem and experimenting with different solutions to find the one that truly solved the root issue.”
