Louhisaari Drink with Citric Acid

Makes 20 servings

Preparation

2,5 l water
2 l blackcurrant leaves
12 g citric acid
250 g sugar
(sparkling/mineral water)

1. Bring the water to a boil.
2. Pour it over the rinsed blackcurrant leaves.
3. Add the citric acid, stirring well.
4. Cover the container with a lid and let the drink steep at room temperature for about 12 hours.
5. Strain out the leaves. Finally, add the sugar. Stir well. Store in a cold place.
