Spring has claimed the landscape earlier this year than we expected. While we truly enjoyed the winter, our safari house is closed this week under the ray of sun.

What a season it has been! Our place were filled with the delightful chatter of visitors from every corner of the world, leaving us with pride at the adventures we’ve shared. It was nice to learn there are several familiar faces back to us for more winter fun.

We embrace all the ups and downs. This season is also dedicated, with the utmost affection, to our beloved Antti and his family. 🕊🕊 You will be missed more than words can express.

The last few days have been pure magic ✨
The Northern Lights have truly treated our guests to unforgettable moments — dancing above us during snowmobile safaris, glowing softly over reindeer rides, and surprising us on our minivan aurora chases. 💚❄️

There’s something special about standing under a clear Arctic sky, staying patient, and believing in the magic of nature. And when you do… nature answers in the most spectacular way. 🌌

Grateful for these moments, these skies, and the wonderful guests who share them with us.

In the North, our connection to nature runs deep. It is shaped by the land, the seasons, and the wisdom passed down through generations. Today, we celebrate and give thanks for the Sámi people and their living culture, which has profoundly influenced life in the northern regions.

Sámi traditions teach respect for nature as a living partner — not something to be owned, but something to be listened to. These traditions continue to guide how we move and coexist with the Arctic environment. Even our sense of wonder toward the northern lights is shaped by their knowledge and storytelling, reminding us that not everything needs to be explained, only respected.

Today, we honor Sámi resilience, identity, language, and craftsmanship, and we express gratitude for the Sámi colleagues we have who shares their stories with us.

Let us celebrate Sámi culture not only today, but every day, with respect, appreciation, and a commitment to listening and learning. 💙💚❤️💛
