This year, we’ve been working on the visual identity for Lasipalatsikortteli’s 90th anniversary. ✨
As part of the anniversary identity, we created a commemorative logo and a playful illustration system inspired by the architecture and character of the iconic 1936 building. The illustration’s elements have appeared throughout the year across events and communications, while the anniversary logo has been placed on the building façades and everything from print materials to digital touchpoints.
We’re currently putting the finishing touches on the anniversary magazine, coming out soon. A celebration of 90 years of urban life, packed with beautiful archival images, unexpected stories and glimpses into the history of this unique Helsinki landmark.
90 years of Lasipalatsikortteli — and still very much alive.

CASE: DesignFinland Media / COLORS
For the Design Finland colour palette we wanted to avoid the predictable blue and white cookie cutter of Finnish design, instead turning to playful and rich contrasts and a calm butter yellow.

CASE: DesignFinland Media / WEB
If we would care to design a new media platform? Yes, pls! Our experience from journalism, digital media design and CMS development, as well as board level experience from the publishing industry, came to good use when designing the new designfinland.fi website.
Designfinland.fi is a fresh new business media that accomodates a broad range of content within the fields of design and marketing. Strong typography, a modular layout and a clear editorial structure make it easy to explore feature articles, perspectives, events and design cases.

CASE: DesignFinland Media / LOGO
How do you capture something distinctly Finnish in a logo for a brand-new media?
The new Design Finland logo draws on Finland’s position as the world’s happiest country. Two dots and the letter D turn the logotype into a laughing face — a small detail that gives the identity its character.
Joy might not be the obvious choice when talking about Finland, but Finnish design is full of a colorful, playful energy and a touch of naivism — from Marimekko’s flowers to the colours of Paimio Sanatorium. We may look serious, but deep down, Finns are pretty happy and have a unique sense of humour :D
The logo is based on Fulcrum, a typeface by Teo Tuominem (founder of Spoke ), highlighting the richness of Finnish typography design.

The annual report for Svenska kulturfonden is built around a rigorous yet flexible grid. The photography and typography are framed by bold blocks of colour and generous white space, creating balanced, spacious compositions.

For The Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland’s 2025 Annual Reports, we collaborated with photographers Helen Korpak and Juho Huttunen. Huttunen’s evocative fine art photography and Korpak’s portraits come together to create a visual language that breathes, inviting reflection and leaving room for interpretation.

How should an annual report look? Where do our ideas about its format, content, and visual language come from?
When we were commissioned to create both a printed and digital annual report for Svenska kulturfonden, we wanted to explore how a traditionally text- and data-heavy format could become more visually engaging. How much can you simplify, compress, and strip away while still preserving the essence of the format?
The result is a concept in which the printed and digital versions do more than simply reproduce the same content in different formats—they complement one another.
Design shapes the way we read, interpret, and evaluate information. The printed publication offers a tactile, slower reading experience with more in-depth content, while the web-optimized digital version is designed for quick reading and features simple, dynamic data animations.

When a publication needs something extra, make stickers. 👾
As part of the ERP Handbook for Business we designed for Vuono Group , we created a collection of pixel-inspired stickers that brought the publication’s visual language beyond the page.
Built around the same illustrations, patterns, and retro-inspired typography featured throughout the handbook, the sticker set turns ERP truths, inside jokes, and hard-earned project wisdom into desktop companions.
From ”ERP is not an IT project” to ”Transform, Load, Pray” and ”Eat, Sleep, ERP, Repeat”, each sticker was designed to make a complex topic a little more approachable—and a little more fun.
Because sometimes the best project documentation is the one that ends up on your laptop.
