Olemisen Balanssia ry on perustettu Turussa vuonna 2014 ja yhdistyksen tehtävä on tutkia ja kehittää ihmisten koulutusta ja hyvinvointia usein erilaisten digitaalisten sovellusten avulla. Koulutustarkoituksiin tarkoitetut ICT-ratkaisut, mukaan lukien ohjelmien, koulutusmateriaalien, verkkosivujen, mobiilisovellusten ja verkko-oppimisjärjestelmien suunnittelu kuluu osamisalueeseemme. Viime vuosina Olemisen Balanssia ry on kehittänyt ja toteuttanut kymmeniä eurooppalaisia kansanvälisiä yhteistöitä kuten tutkimus- ja kehityshankkeita esimerkiksi Open Data, työllistettävyys, kansainvälistyminen ja yrittäjyyskoulutuksen innovaatiot. Olemisen Balanssia ry:llä on laaja yhteistyöverkosto kuntien, kotimaisten ja ulkomaisten koulutus- ja neuvontaorganisaatioiden, koulujen, yliopistojen, julkisten laitosten sekä yksityisen sektorin yritysten kanssa. Olemisen Balanssia ry is a research-based organisation founded in year 2014 in the city of Turku, Finland. In order to promote people's well-being, OB ry organizes educational activities in the Finland Proper area. Olemisen Balanssia ry supports educational institutions, Digital Classroom Tools, Student-Initiated Learning, Social-Emotional Learning and Education. Organisation has the capacity of developing open-source relational database management systems, MySQL, data processing bottlenecks based on log files and session monitoring and pinpointed unproductive parts of logics in reporting area data processing for coders and suggested alternative approach to problems. In recent years Olemisen Balanssia ry has developed and implemented tens of European international cooperations, dealing with Research & Development, Open Data, employability, programming and developing LMS, internationalization and Innovation of Entrepreneurial Training. Olemisen Balanssia is an organization which is creating e-learning platforms and ICT solutions dedicated to educational purposes including developing programs, training materials, designing web pages, mobile applications and e-learning systems. In addition to expertise related to the IT area, Olemisen´s staff has a long track of experience in European Union projects. In mentioned projects, Olemisen’s staff work on various IT tools that support project activities such as online questionnaires, interactive trainings, mobile applications. In addition to these core tasks, they implemented research, elaborated analysis and technical reports, developed training curriculum and materials which aimed to meet the needs and requirements of targeted people. Olemisen has an extensive network of cooperation with Municipalities, domestic and foreign training and counselling organisations, schools, universities, public institutions as well as private sector companies. The association is politically, ideally and religiously non-attached.

We cannot escape the use of AI. 🙈
The conversation around AI often focuses on its environmental costs, and those concerns are valid. Unfortunately, these impacts are still happening today.
But while AI is here to stay, we have the opportunity to make the systems behind it more sustainable and reduce the harm they cause.
At the same time, we need stronger regulations that hold companies accountable for their environmental impact. 👩⚖️
Real change happens when innovation is matched with responsibility. ♻️✨

🚀 As the CyberAgent project comes to an end, we are proud to celebrate what has been achieved since 2023.
What started as an initiative to support students, learners and SME employees, especially women, in developing cybersecurity competences has grown into a practical training ecosystem for cyber resilience in SMEs.
During the pilot phase, the CyberAgent platform reached 425 successful participants:
🎓 170 Higher Education participants
🛠️ 165 Vocational Training participants
🏢 90 SME employees
Available in 9 languages, the platform includes 9 training modules, a Teaching Methodology Toolkit, job-search resources and practical tools for online and hybrid learning.
The platform will remain available beyond the project to support future Cyber Security Change Agents.

Wrapping up the GreenScape Project!
On 27 May 2026, the GreenScape partnership came together for the project’s Final Meeting, looking back on the journey, the results achieved and the cooperation built throughout the project.
The following day, on 28 May 2026, the Final Conference gathered young people, partners and stakeholders to exchange ideas and reflect on sustainability, active citizenship and youth engagement across Europe.
GreenScape has been a meaningful experience of collaboration, learning and shared vision, showing once again how important youth participation is in creating greener and more inclusive communities.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on this journey and contributed to the success of the project! 🌍✨
