Side-Line has been covering the dark electro, industrial, EBM and darkwave scene since 1989. On Facebook, over 52,000 of you follow us - but here's the uncomfortable truth: Facebook currently shows our posts to only a small fraction of you. Often less than 5%.

That's a problem for us, but even more for the bands. We give every artist we cover the same attention, from debut EPs to scene legends. When posts don't reach you, it's the smaller acts that suffer most.

So we're changing how we post - not what we cover. In the coming weeks you'll see us test a few things: a daily evening roundup of all the day's stories in one post, more direct questions to you instead of plain headlines, and every article also appearing in our Stories.

You can help, and it costs nothing. Comment on posts, even briefly. Share the stories of bands you care about. And under Following on our page, select "Favourites" so Facebook stops deciding for you what you get to see.

Our coverage stays what it always was: every band, equal attention, every day. Thanks for reading us - here and on side-line.com.

Exponentia - Die Kunde der Engel (Single)

Out now on Neris Records.

Following a restructuration of my independent label to manage my 4 historical projects separately, Exponentia returns to focus fully on Gothic / Neoclassical music. Eleventh Fear remains dedicated exclusively to Dark Techno.

"Die Kunde der Engel" is a 07:19 journey into a dark, heavy, and melancholic fantasy world. Built around a distorted industrial drum machine and a full symphonic string section, the track features a raw 'Whisper Scream' technique. It concludes with an immersive sound design capturing an angelic message breaching the soul.
