The mission was to create a luxury candle brand with an edgy personality. A different way of presenting luxury, something unusual... and I loved the challenge 🤓

During the discovery phase, while going back and forth with the client, I kept asking why Psycho Bunny was such a big inspiration for him. As we talked more, I realized he had always been a fan of old cartoons because they reminded him of his childhood.

I asked him about his favorite cartoon characters, hoping we’d find the right direction, but none of them really matched the edgy vibe we were looking for.

After a few more conversations, he mentioned Bendy, a character from a video game he used to play. At the time, I had no idea who Bendy was, so I did some research... and boom. It was exactly the direction we needed. A vintage 1930s cartoon style with a dark, edgy personality.

From there, I explored the idea further and made enough changes to create something original while avoiding any copyright issues. This is where we landed… Definitely one of the most fun branding projects I’ve had the chance to work on.
