As a store owner or interior designer, you can look for great product.
The entrance is one of the smallest spaces in the home and one of the easiest to underestimate.
A bench, a pouf, somewhere to sit for a moment, put down a bag or take off your shoes.
Simple products. But when they are designed well, they solve a very real everyday need.
These examples from WOODMAN are made from solid beech wood and bring together what we increasingly look for when analysing a collection:
→ functionality
→ natural materials
→ simple, timeless design
→ products that work across different interiors
→ an easy story for retailers and designers to communicate
Because at YNot Design, we don't look at furniture only as individual products.
We look at where it belongs, who will buy it, how it complements the rest of the collection and whether there is a real commercial reason for it to exist.
Sometimes growth isn't about adding another complicated hero product.
Sometimes it's about recognising the smaller categories that make an offer more complete.
And the entrance might be a very good place to start.
WOODMAN — solid beech furniture designed for everyday living.
August was less about doing more — and more about deciding what should come next.
We travelled.
We met clients.
We had difficult conversations.
We reviewed partnerships that no longer felt right.
And we made the decision to let some brands go.
Not every step forward looks like growth from the outside.
Sometimes growth means saying no.
No to relationships that no longer fit.
No to business models that consume more than they create.
No to doing things simply because “this is how we have always done them.”
After almost a decade in this industry, we’re asking bigger questions about the future of YNot Design.
What value do our clients really need from us?
Where can our experience make the biggest difference?
And what kind of company do we want to build for the next decade?
One thing is becoming increasingly clear:
Our role cannot end with selling a product.
The real work often starts much earlier — with strategy, positioning, commercial readiness, sourcing, processes and understanding what the market actually expects.
August gave us some space to think about all of that.
And while we don’t have every answer yet, we know we’re moving towards a new chapter.
One where YNot Design is less about being another sales agency…
…and much more about becoming a commercial growth partner for ambitious furniture and interior businesses.
September, we’re ready. 🌍

How do we decide which brands deserve a place in our portfolio?
Not every beautiful product is commercially successful.
When we look at a new brand, we don’t only see the design.
We ask ourselves:
• Does it answer current interior trends?
• Can retailers easily introduce it?
• Will interior designers enjoy specifying it?
• Is the production reliable?
• Can the brand grow internationally?
NOVA NOOK was an easy “yes.”
Contemporary design.
Strong visual identity.
Products that inspire projects.
And a collection that fits perfectly into today’s modern interiors.
These three bedside tables are just a glimpse of what’s possible.
Because we don’t simply represent brands.
We choose brands we genuinely believe can grow across Europe.
🌍 Building businesses that grow beyond borders.

We often talk about products.
Today, we’d like to introduce the person behind them.
One of the things we’ve learned over the years is that successful brands don’t start in factories.
They start with people.
People who have a vision.
Who care about quality.
Who make difficult decisions.
Who build businesses with purpose.
Today, Denis, founder of Théo Bébé, shares why sustainability isn’t a marketing slogan for the brand—it’s part of the way they think about designing furniture for the next generation.
At YNot Design, we believe understanding the people behind a brand is just as important as understanding the products they create.
Because we don’t choose brands only for their collections.
We choose them for the values they represent.
32 pieces of furniture.
32 different brands.
One trained eye.
People often ask us:
“How do you know which products will work?”
The truth is...
We don’t have a crystal ball.
But we do spend every single day immersed in the furniture industry.
Walking through showrooms.
Visiting factories.
Meeting retailers.
Talking to procurement companies.
Studying trends.
Observing how brands present themselves.
Listening to what buyers are actually looking for.
Over time, your eye changes.
You stop looking only at the furniture.
You start seeing the strategy behind it.
Why one collection attracts buyers while another doesn’t.
Why one brand feels premium before you even touch the product.
Why some products become bestsellers... and others never leave the warehouse.
This reel is more than a collage of beautiful furniture.
It’s a glimpse into the world we live in every day.
Because our job isn’t just to know products.
It’s to understand the market behind them.
🌍 Building businesses that grow beyond borders.

✈️ The laptop is coming with me… but for the next few days, I’ll finally let it rest a little too. 😊
Running an international business means living between airports, meetings, factories, showrooms, and video calls. It’s exciting—but it’s also a reminder that the best ideas often come when we slow down.
📅 From 9th to 16th August, the YNot Design team will be available on limited hours, so you may notice slightly longer response times.
Thank you for your patience. We’ll be back with fresh energy, new ideas, and the same commitment to helping ambitious brands grow across Europe.
See you soon! ✈️🌍
What does a month at YNot Design really look like?
From London to Leeds.
From Amsterdam to showroom visits.
From meetings with procurement companies to analysing new product categories.
It may look like we’re constantly travelling.
But the truth is... we’re constantly learning.
Every meeting with a retailer tells us how buying decisions are changing.
Every showroom visit reveals new consumer expectations.
Every conversation with a procurement company teaches us what manufacturers need to improve to stay competitive.
This is why we believe international growth starts long before the first sales meeting.
It starts with understanding the market.
At YNot Design, we’re no longer asking:
“Who can we sell this product to?”
We’re asking:
“How do we build brands that buyers genuinely want to work with?”
That’s the future we’re building.
And July was another step in that journey.
🌍 Building businesses that grow beyond borders.
We believe that behind every great brand there are passionate people, creative minds, and stories worth sharing.
That’s why we love introducing the founders and owners who bring their vision, experience, and energy into the brands we represent.
The success of our collaborations comes from working with open-minded entrepreneurs who are ready to grow beyond their own markets and explore new opportunities internationally.
At YNot Design, we care about your business as if it was our own — not as contractors, but as long-term partners.
This is why we work side by side with brand owners, building meaningful connections, creating opportunities, and helping their brands grow in new markets.
Because great results happen when the right people work together.
