WHEN DESIGN MEETS PERFORMANCE.

For the launch of the New Balance Rebel SC, New Balance and Distance took over Espace Niemeyer, a landmark of forward-thinking design, for an encounter between movement, architecture and running. Alongside French rising talents Clara Liberman and Titouan Le Grix, the evening explored a vision shared by New Balance and Distance: one where innovation doesn’t replace heritage, but builds it.

From the curves of Niemeyer’s architecture to the 400m loop traced around it, the Rebel SC was put in motion. After a conversation with Clara and Titouan about their journeys, achievements and relationship with New Balance, two teams took to the course to experience the shoe as it was intended: fast, responsive and made to move forward.

Not just another training camp.
Distance+ kicked off the summer by taking over the trails in Chamonix.
Because the best teams aren’t built by accident.
A few days to reconnect, push each other a little further, and put the latest Nike ACG gear where it belongs. Long days in the new Nike ACG apparel, with the ACG Zegama and ACG Ultrafly carrying us from valley floors to alpine ridgelines, testing not only our own limits, but theirs too.
Long climbs. Technical descents. Heavy legs. Good conversations. Shared meals. Plenty of laughs.
Somewhere between the elevation gain and the time spent together, the team grew and we found more than we were looking for.
Performance has never been an individual story. It’s built through shared effort, shared discomfort, and the people who keep showing up beside you.
The mountains did what they always do: they put everything into perspective.
The gear got tested. So did we.
