Angers, back at two pianos with Baptiste Trotignon.

Sorde-l'Abbaye, Bach Mirror with Vassilena Serafimova.

Then the Philharmonie de Paris: the premiere of Funambules Vol. 2 with Vassi, a programme woven from arrangements and improvisations on Rachmaninov, Mendelssohn and Bach, traditional Bulgarian dances, and new compositions. Always such joy to play with her. And a beautiful surprise with Quatuor Ardeo in the encore.

And then Brno, incredible twice over: The Köln Concert with Maki Namekawa, followed by Gershwin's Piano Concerto in F with the Brno Philharmonic and conductor Dennis Russell Davies.

To close these two months, Mozart Paradox solo in the magnificent Flagey hall in Brussels, with a surprise at the end, my brother David Enhco at the end.

Paris ! La saison prochaine, je vous donne rendez-vous trois fois :

1️⃣ Le 7 novembre à la Philharmonie de Paris pour la re-création, 25 ans plus t**d, du magnifique Concerto pour Piano de Didier Lockwood, avec l’ Orchestre Pasdeloup dirigé par Christian Vásquez

2️⃣ Le 12 février, toujours à la Philharmonie de Paris pour une carte blanche avec l’ Orchestre de chambre de Paris dirigé par Barbara Dragan avec les solistes Vassilena Serafimova et Deborah Nemtanu Programme : 3 œuvres à moi dont « Le Murmure des Oiseaux » pour violon et orchestre, mon « Double Concerto pour Marimba, Piano et Orchestre », Schostakovich avec le 1er Concerto pour Piano et Trompette, et Bach avec un Concerto pour deux clavier transcrit pour marimba et piano.

3️⃣ Le 23 juin au Théâtre des Champs-Elysées 🎹 pour un nouveau récital, le volume 2 de « Mozart Paradox ».

Dans un mois, le 19 juillet, Maki Namekawa et moi nous retrouverons pour interpréter The Köln Concert de Keith Jarrett dans le cadre magique des Nuits de Fourvière (Grand Théâtre) à Lyon !

Le critique musical Francesco Ragni (UK Jazz News) avait écrit pour notre concert à Londres :
Une performance d’une intensité et d’une imagination exceptionnelles.
Les deux pianistes ont offert une interprétation magistrale du Köln Concert, subjuguant le public. Mes attentes étaient élevées, et elles ont été plus que comblées (...)
Entendre le Köln Concert en direct m’a offert une nouvelle perception de la manière dont la musique se déploie en temps réel. J’en suis ressorti avec une appréciation plus profonde de l’œuvre et avec le sentiment que l’exploration du génie musical de Jarrett ne fait que commencer.

In one month, on 19 July, Maki Namekawa and I will get together again to perform Keith Jarrett’s Köln Concert in Lyon’s magical Les Nuits de Fourvière festival (at the Grand Théâtre) !

🏔️Memories from the last few days, mountaineering with a great group of friends in the stunning Parc National des Écrins in the French Alps. We got to climb Mt. Pelvoux (3946 m) up Couloir Coolidge, traverse Glacier des Violettes all the way down to Ailefroide, then climb up Glacier Blanc and Dôme des Écrins (4015 m).

🧗🏻‍♂️So happy to have shared these adventures with Tanguy de Williencourt Silvère Jarrosson Valentine Fabre Gioele Poddine and Geoffrey Bruyère. Missing my pal Dan Tepfer and hoping his knee recovers fast so we can go back together!

Now I'm recharged and can go back on tour! Czech Republic this week, Keith Jarrett's Köln Concert and Gershwin's Concerto in F! 🎹
