The Woolshed is one of the cosiest stores in Kyneton.

This beautiful and inviting store offers quality and timeless men’s and women’s clothing and homewares, with a focus on craftsmanship and natural fibres. Try on leather boots from Dubarry of Ireland or some shearling-lined Birkenstocks, or browse through a curated range of knitwear, gloves, scarves and fragrances. There’s items for the home too, with merino wool blankets and some spectacular cushions by British designers Wallace Sewell. It was very hard to leave the store without one of the amazing tweed jackets from Dubarry of Ireland!

Darwin is Australia’s smallest and most laid-back capital city — sunset drinks, market stalls, street art and sticky heat. It sits within Larrakia Country, the traditional coastal land and sea region of the Larrakia people, known as “saltwater people”.

We spent 48 hours moseying through this multicultural city (well away from the saltwater crocs) — swipe through for where we ate, drank and wandered.

Jackson moved to Northcote at 17, and has lived in the area for half his life since. He now manages a fabulous bookstore that champions independent arts publishing in its backstreets. In Melbourne's winter months, we love to take a short road trip to Kyneton for a day of exploring the cosy stores, coffee shops and w**e bars that make the town such a special place. One of our favourite spots is Piper Street W**e Co — part restaurant, part w**e store, part bar, housed in a beautifully restored 1860s building on Kyneton's historic Piper Street.

They're currently hosting Bodega Sierra, a collaboration with Frank Camorra of MoVida fame that sees their European menu lean into rustic Spanish dishes. Sundays are all about paella, with a rotating menu of regional styles. Check their socials or website for more information.

Plaka is a Greek deli with terrazzo floors, a green marble counter, and a counter overflowing with housemade dips, cheeses, dolmades, slow-cooked octopus, fresh sardines and more. We put together a tasting plate and sat out on the street, watching the Parisian world go by.
