Solthis

✅ un accueil bienveillant et sans jugement ;
✅ une écoute attentive et respectueuse ;
✅ des informations fiables et adaptées ;
✅ le respect de la confidentialité et de la vie privée ;
✅ des services et une orientation adaptés à leurs besoins ;
✅ un accompagnement sans discrimination ;

We are proud and honored to contribute, through the SHAPE Project, to Sierra Leone’s efforts to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality — with a particular focus on adolescents — while promoting more respectful, dignified and humanised childbirth.
The rehabilitation of the maternity unit at Tombo Community Health Centre is a concrete step towards safer deliveries and better experiences of care for women and adolescents.
We are grateful to the Ministry of Health and all our SHAPE partners for their commitment and collaboration in making this progress possible.
Together, we can help ensure that every woman and every newborn receives the safe, respectful and dignified care they deserve.
We would like to thank our financial and implementing partners for supporting this rehabilitation.

👩🏾⚕️ l’accès des adolescent·e·s et des jeunes à la santé et aux droits se***ls et reproductifs ;
✊🏾 la lutte contre les violences basées sur le genre et les mutilations génitales féminines ;
🌍 le renforcement de la résilience et de la souveraineté des systèmes de santé africains ;

Because climate change is a major public health issue, Solthis has strengthened its approach, which links human, animal, and environmental health.
Here are some figures illustrating our impact on climate and health in 2025:
🌱 8,270 community members in Senegal were educated about the impacts of climate change on health through the project.
🌍 A concrete commitment: to reduce our CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030, as part of our partnership with Action Accelerator.
💬 “After raising awareness among households, the amount of waste left behind or burned has decreased significantly. Adopting practices such as sorting and composting has helped improve waste management at the community level,” says Maimouna, a community liaison in .
In the face of climate challenges, protecting health also requires better-informed communities, more sustainable practices, and organizations committed to reducing their own impact.
