The club got together last night for our annual end of year presentation night! It was a brilliant evening filled with laughter, memories, and good times🔥🌟

We have had another amazing year as a club with lots of fundraising, club trips, growth, excellent racing, and lots of qualifications completed📈🤩

This of course would not be possible without each and every member of the club: from nippers to parents, to committee members and coaches and everyone in between- it truly is a team effort and the Vale family showcase this💕👏🏽

Well done to our outstanding achievement award winners who competed in every competiton this year! We are so grateful for your commitment!✨👏🏽& Also well done to our members who completed/assisted in a rescue this year- reinforcing what lifesaving is all about🛟🌊

And last but certainly not least our Committee Cup winner Hayley, our incredible nipper co ordinator, who is sadly stepping down from her position after 5 brilliant years. She had led the nipper team week on week with a smile, determination, and a genuine passion for helping our nipper section thrive- thank you Hayley!!!🏆🌟🩷

Now looking ahead to our biggest year yet… 2027, the year Vale SLSC will turn 10 years old- stay tuned👀

We had our annual JSM night swim this week and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Lots of fun dipping at Jackson’s Bay under the moonlight🌟🎇🌠🏊🏽

Lovely evening for our ski training last night! Making the most of the evenings before winter training🌅☀️

Special thank you to club members Danny, Austin, Shane, Kai & Mahath who attended and supported an introductory beach session hosted by Whitmore SLSC for Redditch Lifesaving Club, who visited South Wales from the Midlands this weekend ⛱️

A HUGE well done to Poppy who competed for the Surf Life Saving Wales Welsh Team this weekend in the Celtic Cup!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🌟

Poppy came away winning the youth girls ski and flags, helping Wales Youth place 3rd Overall! We are so so proud of her outstanding performances⚡️👏🏽👏🏽

We have returned to the pool! Looking forward to a great pool season with hard training, brilliant technique and lots of hard graft🔥🤩💪🏽

Our nippers had a blast at Aberavon Surf Life Saving Club Nipper carnival this weekend- they definitely ended the beach season on a high!🌊🔥

There were so many medals & points, but most importantly even more laughs, smiles, and memories made- we really do have the best bunch of nippers☺️👏🏽🌟

They put in some brilliant performances throughout the day & cheered eachother on until the end- we are so proud!🩷🫶🏽

For some of nipper juniors it was their final nipper competition- a big well done to you guys and we can wait to see you shine in juniors!🤩✨

Now summer is over we look ahead to our winter training, with tough sessions back in the pool ready for the pool comps in January…. Let’s get it🔥🔥🔥

What a fab morning for our parent taster session! It was great fun and so good to get lots of you on a board and ski🌟😁
