Did you know we have a large selection of Large Print books that make reading more accessible? 📖 🔍

The large print section at Basildon Library has plenty of fiction and non-fiction books to offer, from family sagas to romance and thrillers to westerns, there is something for every reader!

Use the Essex Libraries app or website to reserve a copy of a large print book, or speak to a member of staff at the Welcome desk.

Congratulations to all the young readers who took part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge! We hope you have enjoyed taking part, it was lovely to see so many of you enjoying your books 📚

If your child has finished the challenge but you were unable to come in to get their medal and certificate, pop in by Saturday this week to collect them.

Each book is wrapped and labelled with just the first line of the book. Choose the one that speaks to you, check it out with your library card, and let the story surprise you 📚

Come and join us for our SEND Sensory Stay and Play sessions. Our sensory wall and floor provide the ideal environment for your child to both learn and have some fun.

Enjoy our safe SEND area, meet other parents and make friends!
