GraphiteGaze

My first Portrait of 2026 😊

Coloured Pencil on Drafting Film.

*Drafting Film is a very unique surface that allows both the front and rear to be worked, it also has the added advantage of allowing a background colour to be added if desired, this one has a dark Blue giving it a warm appearance.

-A3 supplied Framed.
I’m currently OPEN for commissions. 👨‍🎨

From a Photo to a Portrait 👨‍🎨

Limited time is what holds me back from drawing as much as I would like, working long hours away from home and the demands of everyday home life take priority.

Here are three drawings that I completed in 2025, I’m currently near to completion of my first of 26, a coloured pencil drawing created on drafting film, quite a unique surface that allows me to work both sides and add a coloured background as can be seen in the image of the Chocolate Lab.

Keep your eyes peeled for the next unveil just as soon as it’s complete and delivered to its owner 🫣🤗

It would appear that Labs / Retrievers are a popular request, here’s a few from recent years…

Coloured Pencil & Graphite.

I’ve not done all that many drawings over this last year, home life and work commitments take away that valuable time, I’m on with one more that is yet to be unveiled in the next few weeks!

If you have considered having something done, let me know and I’ll get you an allocation in the diary, I can get a limited number completed in time for Xmas 🎅🏻

Hello everyone, well after a year out from drawing, I’ve decided I’m going to give it another go, I’m already on with a couple of pet portraits and will unveil them just as soon as I get them finished, keep your eyes peeled and if anyone was toying with wanting something done, just drop me a message 🥸

Well, after having had a break from drawing for nearly six months, I’ve decided that I’m gonna return to it, but will likely choose a different direction and focus on an entirely different subject, as much as I’ve loved drawing domestic pets it’s actually restricted my desire to focus on other Interesting Genres, I’m not sure yet what that might be, so I’ll keep you all in suspense a while longer.

The dogs below were all miniature drawings that were framed together side by side, I wasn’t aware if I had shared them or not, either way, here they are, a couple of years old now and drawn using a Graphite Pencil 😊
