Bath Rugby Foundation
We re-ignite confidence and self-worth in young people and give them the life skills and opportunities to not only survive but to thrive in the world.
We're a charity that helps young people who need emotional, practical and physical support by building confidence, developing life skills and creating pathways to independence. We put our hearts and souls into helping any challenged young person stop feeling judged, crushed or underestimated and start feeling self-assured, hopeful and happy. Every year we change the lives of thousands of young people by being active in their communities, schools or at our home at the Rec.
Meet our Alternative Learning Hub team.
The Alternative Learning Hub (ALH) is the fourth step on our pathway of support, working with young people aged 14-16 who are at risk of exclusion or have been out of mainstream education for 18 months or more.
For young people who have struggled to find their place in mainstream education, the ALH offers something different: a safe, supportive environment where they can learn, build confidence, develop life skills and start to see a positive future.
Meet Jonathan, Bethan, Luke, Annie and Liam - the team helping young people work towards qualifications, develop their independence and find their next step.
And the results speak for themselves. Last year, 100% of our young people sat an exam for the first time and secured their next steps into further education, employment, or training.

Meet the Community team.
These are the people taking Bath Rugby Foundation into schools, clubs and communities across Bath, Wiltshire, Somerset and beyond, reaching young people where they are and making sure those who need our support can access it.
Last year, our Community team worked with more than 5,200 young people through Schools Partnership, the first step on our pathway of support.
Meet Jack, Pippa, Jack S and Jess - alongside more than 20 incredible Community Coaches who deliver sessions every week, using the power of sport to build confidence, develop life skills and create pathways to independence.
But this work is about far more than sport.
Our coaches provide social, emotional and practical support through 1-1mentoring, coaching and targeted intervention, helping young people build the confidence they need to engage with school, strengthen relationships and take their next steps.
And for some young people, Schools Partnership is just the beginning. Where a young person needs further support, we can help them move on to the next step of our pathway.

This is what your support helps make possible.
Our Great Mulberry Escape is running now, with ยฃ10 tickets helping us create more opportunities for young people to belong, take part and thrive.

Boost is the vital fourth step on our pathway of support - working with young people aged 14-16 who are at risk of exclusion or have been out of mainstream education for 18 months or more.
20% of pupils in B&NES are persistently absent.
Thatโs too many young people being left behind.
Through Boost:
๐ Attendance rises to 85% (from as low as 18%)
๐ 100% sit exams for the first time
โ
90% pass their exams
๐ 100% move into education, employment or training
Joe is one of those young people. After years out of education, he has now sat his exams for the first time and started a Mechanics course at Bath College.
Support like this is only possible because of people like you who choose to stand with Bath Rugby Foundation.
If youโve entered our Great Mulberry Escape, or booked one of our events, thank you. Youโre helping make support like this possible.

Meet the team behind Engage.
Engage is the second step on our pathway of support, working with young people aged 9-13 who are at risk of disengaging from mainstream education.
This academic year, our team is supporting 35 young people across Bath, Midsomer Norton and Trowbridge.
Last year, 86% of young people on Engage were recorded by their schools as having positively re-engaged with education, demonstrating the difference that the right environment, trusted relationships and consistent support can make.
Meet Alex, Ella, Scarlet and Honor, who are helping young people build confidence, resilience and positive relationships, while creating pathways back into education.
A huge welcome to Ella and Scarlet, who have joined the team this year.
