For a long time, I thought being a good professional meant staying modest and quiet about my achievements.

Today, I’m learning to be proud of the work behind them—the years of practice, the challenges, the investment in learning and the determination to keep going.

From building Beauty Ink by R.D. in Belfast to developing Empower Management Services FZ-LLC in the UAE, I have carried that same belief with me: keep learning, give your best and don’t give up on your vision.

Thinking about Lip Blush but worried you’ll be left with bright red lips? Let’s clear up a few things…

IS LIP BLUSH JUST ABOUT COLOUR?

No. Lip Blush is also about contour, definition, balance and symmetry.

It can help to:

✨ Define a pale or uneven lip border
✨ Improve the appearance of symmetry
✨ Restore soft, natural-looking colour
✨ Give the lips a fresher, more polished appearance
✨ Reduce your reliance on lip liner

WILL MY LIPS LOOK TOO BRIGHT?

Immediately after treatment, the colour will look stronger and the lips may appear slightly swollen. Don’t judge the final result on the first day—the colour softens considerably as the lips heal.

Your shade is selected especially for you. It can be beautifully natural, from a soft n**e or gentle pink to a richer tone if that is what you prefer.

DOES LIP BLUSH MAKE LIPS BIGGER?

Lip Blush does not add physical volume like filler. However, carefully defining the natural border and improving balance can make the lips appear more structured and beautifully contoured.

HOW DO I PREPARE?

Before your appointment:

• Keep your lips hydrated
• Gently exfoliate any dry skin
• Do not attend with cracked, sunburned or irritated lips
• Tell me about medications, allergies and medical conditions
• Always mention any history of cold sores

Lip treatment may trigger a cold-sore outbreak. If you have ever experienced cold sores—even years ago—please speak with your doctor or pharmacist before your appointment about suitable antiviral advice.

WILL I NEED MORE THAN ONE APPOINTMENT?

Lip Blush is a process, not an instant lipstick treatment. Your healed result is assessed after the initial appointment, and a perfecting appointment may be needed to refine the colour and finish.

The goal is not to change your lips into somebody else’s. It is to enhance what you already have—with better definition, balance and a shade created especially for you. 🖤
