Last week, the SSL Pools Ltd team completed the installation of two new Bayrol automatic chemical dosing units at a commercial leisure facility in North Wales.

One unit has been installed to serve the children’s pool, with the second dedicated to the main swimming pool, ensuring both pools benefit from precise and reliable water treatment.

Another major refurbishment project underway for the SSL Pools Ltd team.

The existing Astral commercial sand filter has reached the end of its operational life after many years of reliable service. Our engineers have now safely isolated the plant, drained the vessel, removed the filter media and cut out the old filter, ready for the installation of a brand-new filtration system.

A modern filtration system will provide:

✅ Reduced maintenance and downtime

🔨 Spa Refurbishment Project Underway 🔨

This week, the SSL Pools Ltd team has begun the complete removal of an ageing spa that had unfortunately reached the end of its serviceable life. Following extensive investigation, it was confirmed that the spa shell was leaking and beyond economical repair, making a full replacement the only long-term solution.

As you can see, the existing spa has now been fully stripped out, exposing the original pipework and structure in preparation for the next stage of the project.

The good news is that the brand-new spa is already being manufactured and is scheduled to arrive for installation a week next Monday. Once delivered, our team will move quickly to install, connect, and commission the new spa, bringing this facility back to life with a modern, reliable, and efficient system.

Another exciting installation completed! We have recently installed this stunning 10m x 4m level deck swimming pool, creating a sleek and contemporary centrepiece for what will be an incredible wellness space.

Today we finished the full refurbishment of the outdoor swimming pool at Morfa Lodge Holiday Park, Caernarfon.

What started as a leaking, cracked, overpainted concrete pool is now fully restored and ready for the season. The project included:
