🌊 What the Gull?!

Behind the scenes, artist Caroline has been busy developing her playful Lightpool 2026 commission, inspired by Blackpool’s famous seagulls!

To inspire What the Gull?!, Caroline Daly ran a workshop with pupils at Kincraig Primary School in Blackpool. The children shared their seagull stories, made puppets and recorded their voices, which will all help bring the installation to life.

💚 A huge thank you to the pupils and staff!

🗓️ Discover What the Gull?! at Lightpool 21-31 October 2026.
