We hope the taster day went brilliantly for PANTHERA DANCE COMPANY as they open the doors to their first Bournemouth studio! 💃🕺

Located at 93A Chatsworth Road in Charminster, the new studio brings Panthera’s growing dance community to Bournemouth, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for dancers of different ages and abilities. The new facility features sprung wooden flooring, performance lighting and video facilities, along with dedicated changing and waiting areas. (Panthera Dance Company)

Charminster is a busy and diverse part of Bournemouth, making it a great location for Panthera’s expansion and a fantastic addition to the area.

We were delighted to play our part in getting the new studio ready for opening. Shadow Design produced and installed the new fabricated tray signage, finished with 5mm gloss acrylic detailing, along with a range of vinyl logos and graphics throughout the premises.

Another local business looking smart and ready to welcome all types of dancers ! 👏

🌿 Fresh new signage for The Green House Hotel, Bournemouth!

This week we had the pleasure of producing and installing new signage for The Green House Hotel – but this wasn’t quite your standard signage job.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything The Green House does, so the materials used for the signage needed to reflect those same values. That meant commonly used sign materials such as Foamex and aluminium composite weren’t suitable for this project.

Instead, we produced the signs using painted marine plywood, creating signage that works with the hotel’s environmental approach while still delivering a smart, professional finish.

The Green House itself is a beautifully restored Grade II listed Victorian villa, home to 32 individually designed bedrooms and the two-AA-Rosette Arbor Restaurant. Sustainability influences everything from the materials and furnishings used throughout the hotel to its suppliers, food sourcing, waste reduction and energy use. (Green House⁠)

And the location isn’t bad either! Situated on Grove Road in the heart of Bournemouth, it’s just a short walk from the town centre and Bournemouth’s famous sandy beaches, with Poole, Christchurch, the Dorset coast and the New Forest all within easy reach. (Green House⁠)

Lucky gym goers BH Live Active Pyramids can now use the new BioStrength room full of Technogym equipment.

To bring impact to the room we designed, produced and installed this feature wall with 10mm gloss acrylic lettering, along with gloss black lettering outside the room.

The stunning new and improved gym is now open at BH Live Active Mountbatten Centre. The latest Precor UK equipment has been installed along with the intelligent EGYM setup.

We were asked to soften the 3 huge curved walls with living wall and to add 3D lit logos along with a H2O neon symbol. The spa also had the same treatment.

During a recent visit to Hengistbury Head, it was fantastic to see our designs brought to life across a range of signage throughout the site. We are proud to have been involved with this local project and hope the new signs help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the area’s rich history and heritage.
