Recently completed converted cowshed. Staircase hand crafted by myself, made from new and reclaimed oak with balau timber treads and spindles. Maisonette kitchen handcrafted by myself, using balau timber, Spanish slate worktop, cut out, drainage grooves and hand fitted by myself. Including reclaimed marble end panel and splash backs which the customer had on site. He was delighted to incorporate these into his kitchen. Reclaimed terracotta tiles flooring downstairs. Upstairs, new lime washed effect softwood flooring. Customer delighted with the whole job. Have done several projects for him over the past 20+ years. Pleasure to work for with the quirky challenges he gives me.

Not so long ago we had this lovely snowy scenery and now spring is well on its way, daffs in full bloom, the willows seem to be the first with new growth. Ducks and the Moorhens are already sitting on their nests, they should have their hatchlings in less than a months time. Lambs playing in neighbouring fields. Yesterday we saw tiny baby black and grey rabbits bopping round the field near the Shepherds Hut, lovely to see the wild black rabbits! We just love this time of year with everything coming back to life, after a long winter!
