Thanks to donations, CHILL - Cancer Help In Local Lives ®️ were able to spread some kindness to this lovely family in between 4 yr old Oliver’s cancer treatment. Receiving their thank you post has given us all so much joy 💜

Petition: The Welsh Government should legislate to make sanitary bins mandatory in men’s public toilets 01/08/2026

🚹 Men use sanitary pads too and it’s about time we stopped pretending otherwise.

At CHILL – Cancer Help In Local Lives, we’re incredibly proud to support our member Ed and his campaign.

For many men living with cancer, bowel conditions, prostate issues or other medical conditions, using sanitary pads is part of everyday life. Yet in too many public toilets, there’s still nowhere to dispose of them with dignity.

Imagine having to carry used pads away because there’s no suitable bin.

It shouldn’t happen. And together, we can help change it.

🖊️ By signing the Welsh Government petition, you’re helping raise awareness and calling for sanitary disposal bins to become the norm in men’s toilets too.

This isn’t about politics, we don’t care what party you support.

It’s about dignity, equality and respect.

Please sign, share and help us give every man the dignity he deserves.

💙 Because dignity shouldn’t depend on which toilet you use.

Petition: The Welsh Government should legislate to make sanitary bins mandatory in men’s public toilets From my own prostate cancer diagnosis, I know how difficult, embarrassing, and often degrading it is to have to use sanitary pads when there's no sanitary bin in men's toilets for me to dispose of the pad with dignity. Often meaning I don't go out. I'm campaigning for bins for boys to be in all publ...

Supporting people with cancer isn’t about competition. It’s about collaboration. 💜

At CHILL – Cancer Help In Local Lives, we know we can’t do everything ourselves, but together we can do so much more.

Today, Julie had the pleasure of delivering another batch of our children’s care bags to Sandville Self Help Foundation’s Log Cabin, where children affected by cancer can enjoy a special break away with their families.

If one of our bags can bring a smile, offer a little comfort or simply remind a child that people care, then every donation, every packed bag and every mile travelled is worthwhile.

We’re incredibly proud to support other cancer charities whenever we can, because every organisation is working towards the same goal – making life a little easier for people facing one of the toughest journeys imaginable.

Thank you to everyone who donates items for our care bags and helps us spread kindness. You are part of every smile these bags create.

Together, we really are stronger. 💜

Turning local support into local strength.
