Hope to see you down there! And also remember.. we run FREE MUSIC SESSIONS every week in Brighton, Crawley and Worthing for those aged 12-25.. head to the link in our bio to find out more 😀

And of course, big ups to for the support 🫡

The music that fills our studios, stages and spaces every week owes an immeasurable amount to Black creativity, innovation and culture. From hip hop, jungle and garage to grime, jazz, reggae, R&B, house, techno and beyond, so much of the music we make and love has been shaped by Black communities.

AudioActive wouldn’t be what it is without that history, or without the Black young people, artists, music leaders, collaborators and friends who continue to shape our community today.

Honouring Black history and culture isn’t something to pick up in October and put down again in November. It means knowing where the music comes from, giving credit, creating space, listening and learning, and making that part of how we work all year round.

Big love to everyone in our community celebrating Black History Month ❤️

Thank you to for the continued support as always 🙏

Important one here! We want to hear from you 🙏

AudioActive is yours, it belongs to the youth, and it is the young people that keep it alive, so if you've got something you'd like to say about what we're doing, or there's anything you'd like to see more or less of in the next year.. orrrr there's something you can share about our impact in your musical or personal life... then please head to the link in our bio and fill out our Youth Voice Survey! 🗣️

You might be a regular in the Worthing studio, or hopped on the decks with some our music leaders in Crawley.. you might have come to one of our events, or even dropped into just one or two Room to Rant sessions over the past year — however and wherever you’ve engaged with AudioActive, your voice deserves to be heard.

It's so important for us that what we do and how we do it is informed by the young people who make up our incredible community. Check out the “You Said, We Did” post a few months back to see what we made happen from the last survey ✅

P.S. It should take 5-10 minutes to complete, and it's all completely anonymous.
