Does your workplace want to do something genuinely meaningful for local children — without it adding to anyone's workload?

We're looking for businesses and organisations across South Wales to host a quarterly pop-up toy donation point.

It works like this: you designate a drop off area in work, staff bring in toys they no longer need from home during a set week, and you bring the toys to our warehouse.

It runs four times a year, so it's consistent but never too much. Staff get to declutter. Children across South Wales receive toys that have been checked, tested, and matched to them personally. In 2024 we gifted toys to over 9,000 children.

🧸💙 Building skills, confidence and community!

On Monday just gone, Donna, our Operations Manager, and Linda, one of our fantastic volunteers, visited Coleg y Cymoedd to talk to pupils about ToyBox Project, what we do and how they can get involved.

And what a fantastic response! 🙌

The pupils now have a much better understanding of the work that happens behind the scenes at ToyBox and the important role volunteers play in helping us get toys safely back into the hands of children and families.

The partnership doesn't stop there...

👀 Coleg y Cymoedd are committed to becoming a ToyBox Project drop-off point!

We're working towards having a place where people can donate their preloved toys directly through the college — something we're really excited about.

The pupils will also have the opportunity to visit our warehouse, see what we do first-hand and take some toys back to the college to test and check before returning them to us.

It's a brilliant opportunity for them to:

✨ Develop independent living skills
✨ Build confidence
✨ Gain practical experience
✨ Work as part of a team
✨ Learn about volunteering
✨ Make a genuine difference in their community

We absolutely love partnerships like this. It's not just about collecting toys — it's about giving people skills, experience and the opportunity to be part of something bigger.

🎃🎄 CHRISTMAS & HALLOWEEN HAVE ARRIVED AT TOYBOX! 🎄🎃

It might only be September, but things are getting VERY festive (and slightly spooky!) at the ToyBox Project! 👻🎅

Our warehouse is already filling up with Halloween goodies 🎃 and Christmas toys 🎄, ready for the busy months ahead.

From spooky surprises to Christmas magic, we’re getting everything checked, sorted and ready to be rehomed to families, schools and community groups across South Wales. ❤️

And yes… we know it’s early! 😂 But with thousands of children relying on ToyBox each year, the elves (and volunteers!) need plenty of time to get everything ready. 🧸🧩🎁

A massive thank you to the fantastic team from Lloyds Bank who spent the day with us at ToyBox Project! 🧸🎲🧩

They rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in, testing, checking and preparing hundreds of games, puzzles and toys ready to be rehomed with children and families across South Wales.

From making sure games had all their pieces to checking toys were safe and ready for their next adventure, their help has made a huge difference. 🙌

Every toy they checked is one less toy going to landfill and one more opportunity for a child to enjoy something new to them. ❤️

Thank you to the whole Lloyds team for giving up your time, bringing such great energy and helping us keep the ToyBox wheels turning!
