Toothdrinker is a DIY hard rock and metal outfit based out of Cardiff, Wales.
Newly formed doomgaze-y/goth/metal band in search of a drummer. Currently we're two guitarists, bassist and vocalist, mix of genders and all in our 30s.
Musically, we're aiming for something inspired by bands like Cwfen, Messa, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, Alcest, Anathema, Emma Ruth Rundle, Devin Townsend and a bunch more. Basically, think heavy and dirge-y but also melodic hopefully.
Looking for a drummer to help us complete the line-up and finish writing some songs, record some stuff and play some gigs! Vibe is quite relaxed, nice people playing miserable music
(This is separate to the Toothdrinker "band", but this is the only public account I have!)
Just popping out another one of these...
Looking for a female singer and any drummer for a doomgaze-y/goth/metal-y band in the style of something like Cwfen, Messa or Cold In Berlin.
Influences include Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, Unto Others, Alcest, Anathema, Emma Ruth Rundle, Devin Townsend and so on.
Got a guitarist and bassist potentially inolved already - worth flagging we're all in our 30s, and have the general life commitments of work / family / unexplained aches that comes with!
(P. S. if you've been in touch already, thanks! I'll get back to you ASAP)
Let's put the "fun" in "funeral march"
Looking for members (especially singer) to start something in the Cardiff / South Wales area. Vibes of Cwfen, Messa, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative etc.
Drop me a message if that sounds like your jam!
(All separate to the Toothdrinker stuff, which isn't dead so much as is in dev hell)
Our pals in Phantom Spell are making their UK debut this week, so I dusted off my teenage sprite editing skills to make them this little video game intro.

For reasons unclear, there are now physcial CDs of our 'Last Escape' - our Resident Evil 3 themed rock opera.
Styled like little LP records, you can pick one up our Bandcamp page if you're so inclined!

Apparently it's been 30 years since the Sega Saturn came out, so here's one of my favourite soundtracks from that era: NiGHTS Into Dreams.

Playing around with a new (old) MP3 player and decided to give this song a listen for the first time in a long time.
My attempt at writing something Danzig-y (until I had lyrics, it was labelled 'You Make Me Feel Like Danzig'), the song is made by the incredible vocals from and ripping solo from .
Still forever grateful super talented dudes like them took part in my wacky low budget Resident Evil themed rock opera! Legends.

Our new song 'Flicker' is out now, available on Bandcamp, Spotify or wherever else you get your music these days!
In stark contrast to nearly everything else we've done, here's a song not overtly about or directly referencing pop culture and video games. Shock and horror.
Don't worry though, it's still as cheesy as the rest of our material. Just with some extra spacey chugging. Hope you enjoy!
Big thanks to for a cracking mastering job too.

'Flicker' is out a week tomorrow (1 March)!
Described by my completely unbiased partner and fellow Toothdrinker as “the best song [I've] ever written”. If that totally unsolicited and objective feedback doesn't get you excited, nothing will!

New song “Flicker” out on 1 March.
Looking forward to getting this one out there! Bit more spacey and heavier than usual. Will post some clips soon.
