The Creigiau Inn

Fagans for eight years. With the backing of her family, Claire has now fulfilled a lifelong dream by taking on The Creigiau Inn as her very own pub.
The Creigiau Inn is a friendly, family-run village pub in Cardiff offering home-cooked food, real ales, a cosy bar, beer garden, quiz nights, and live entertainment - perfect for families, locals, and visitors alike. Meet Claire Griffiths – a warm and passionate hospitality professional with over 30 years of experience managing cafés, hotels, and most recently serving as Assistant Manager at the Plymouth Arms in St. At the heart of this new venture is a close-knit team she’s incredibly proud of: her son Josh, learning the ropes with ambitions of running his own pub one day; her brother Mark, a talented Head Chef; Sue, a trusted Supervisor and close friend; her niece Eve, bringing energy and charm front of house; and working tirelessly behind the scenes, her brothers Paul and Matt. Claire’s love for people, friendly nature, and passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere shine through in everything she does – and when she’s not at the pub, she’s likely enjoying a bit of shopping or catching up with friends.
A sincere apology to our guests yesterday evening.
We are sorry for the unexpected disruption at the pub yesterday evening.
As a small family run pub, we were unfortunately faced with a sudden family emergency affecting our team, and we had no option but to close the pub unexpectedly.
We appreciate that this was extremely disappointing and inconvenient, particularly for those of you who were already enjoying your evening with us. We are genuinely sorry for anyone who was affected or had their evening disrupted.
We are a small team, and whilst we always do our very best to keep things running smoothly, last night was an unforeseen and genuinely difficult situation. As a result, we will be opening later than usual at 5pm today.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience, and our apologies once again to anyone whose evening was interrupted.
What a night!
A massive thank you to everyone who came to see The Raiders perform on Saturday evening!
An amazing atmosphere from start to finish, hope to see you all at the next one! 🍻
In the meantime, why not end the bank holiday weekend at the pub... Bar is open until 10PM 😉
