Join us on 24 September 2026, from 10am–3pm at St Fagans National Museum of History, as we come together to celebrate Black history, heritage, identity and culture across Wales.

Under the powerful theme “Proud to Be Me”, we will honour the past, celebrate today and inspire tomorrow.

✨ As we are together, let’s celebrate our heritage, embrace our identity and stand proudly in who we are.

Here at Cardiff Hubs and Libraries we've been extremely fortunate to recently start the first BeyondWords Book Club in Wales. This book club uses colourful wordless books that allow everyone to join in, creating their own stories from the pictures they see.

It’s warm, relaxed, and full of those small moments where you can see confidence growing and connections being made. It’s great to see everyone feeling included and to help create an accessible space for all.

Thank you to the kind people at Cardiff People First for having us, and as usual we'll see you back there on the first Tuesday of the month.
