Do you live in Cardiff and have something you would personally like MPs and other decision-makers in Westminster to understand about migrant life?

It could be about immigration, housing, employment, education, access to services, integration, discrimination, family life or another issue affecting your community.

Send us a short written response — up to 1,200 characters — explaining the issue, why it matters and what you think could help.

We will select six people for a free SRCDC visit to Westminster in late November. Train travel and lunch are provided.

A lovely afternoon is getting underway here at South Riverside Community Development Centre in Cardiff.

Today we are hosting Taff Housing’s Annual Summer Fun Event — three hours of completely free activities for local families and anyone who would simply like to come along and join in.

There’s a bouncy castle, face painting, children’s entertainment, mascots and plenty happening around the centre. But perhaps the nicest part is simply seeing the building full of people — children having fun, neighbours meeting one another and local organisations coming together in the same space.

The event runs today, Wednesday 12 August, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm at Riverside Warehouse & Wyndham Street Centre, Machen Place, Cardiff CF11 6EQ.

It’s free, everyone is welcome, and there’s still plenty of time to come and join us.
