PHGS

A recent bathroom installation completed in Colchester, designed to bring together comfort, practicality and a more considered finish.

This project centred around a clean, modern look, with a walk-in shower, underfloor heating and a carefully selected mix of textures and tones to give the space a more refined feel.

When working on bathrooms like this, it is never just about the suite itself. It is about understanding how the client wants the room to look, feel and function, then delivering an installation that works on every level.

From layout and plumbing through to the finishing details, this was a great project to be part of.

A reminder before the heating really starts working hard this winter 🔧

If your boiler is due its annual service, now is a good time to get it booked in.

Regular servicing helps make sure your boiler is operating safely and efficiently, gives your engineer an opportunity to spot developing issues, and can reduce the chances of problems appearing when you need the heating most.

It’s also worth checking your warranty. Many boiler manufacturers require an annual service to keep their warranty valid, so missing one could potentially affect your cover.

We were in Coggeshall recently carrying out exactly that, getting another boiler checked and ready for the colder months ahead.

✓ Stronger, more consistent water pressure
✓ Reliable hot water around the home
✓ A system suited to renovations, extensions and larger households
✓ Professional installation from a local team

★★★★★ Going the extra mile really does matter.

For us, good service is not just about turning up, carrying out the installation and leaving. It is about giving people the right advice, helping them understand their options and doing what we can to make the whole process easier.

That is exactly what this latest review from Neil highlights.

Josh was able to help with the warranty process before PHGS was even brought in to carry out the replacement, and that kind of support is something we are really proud of.

A big thank you to Neil for taking the time to leave such a positive review.

If you’re thinking about upgrading your heating, it might be time to look beyond the traditional boiler.

Air source heat pumps provide efficient, low-carbon heating for your home, using energy from the outside air to help keep your property warm throughout the year.

For the right property, they can offer a more future-ready heating system, reduce reliance on fossil fuels and may also qualify for government grant support towards installation.

PHGS can help you understand the options, assess whether a heat pump is suitable for your home and install the system properly from start to finish.

Another air conditioning installation completed in Brightlingsea ❄️🔥

And with the weather starting to turn, it’s worth remembering that air conditioning isn’t only useful during the summer.

Many modern systems can both cool **and heat**, using heat-pump technology to provide efficient heating when temperatures drop. That makes them a practical year-round option for spaces such as bedrooms, home offices, extensions and commercial premises.

Cool when you need it. Warm when you need it.
